really - there are a lot of things in the current situation I don't agree with either - and I have written like 10 times now that I prefer that we give funds to countries around Syria that harbour the refugees to support them. but when I write that, people - including you - skip over it and call me traitor or whatever.

There was kind of camp relatively near my place. Big bus station where those migrants were sleeping and coming for months. I was driving many times around there and there were some kids and females but that was almost nothing compared to mostly young men. Not sure how they reproduce if there are so many men and no women.

I have couple friends of German descent from Northern Brasil and they insist they all came from farming communities in Germany and immigrated to Brasil around 1946.

One thing I can assure you is that the "target" is as level headed as it goes, and to start a thread, go berserk and attempt to instigate a lynch mob with a several remarks taken out of context, just because somebody got a bit emotional defending their stance (which was later explained and articulated in detail btw.) is just stupid. There's much better targets out there on GFY (talking about truly annoying). Btw. it's not true that one couldn't have an interesting discussion on GFY.
