Say goodbye to your porn business...

https://openbazaar.org/index.html

No DMCA, No Host takedown, No Abuse reports, No, no, no... Peer 2 Peer network.

I have no idea how this differs from Napster, Ares, and all those other long forgotten peer 2 peer networks but I'm assuming there's some sort of difference to make this less likely to get shut down?

As far as I can see anyone can setup any kind of shop selling anything without any kind of authority taking their page/shop down...

Only hurdle is for wankers/fappers/etc to adopt bitcoin, which is also in their interest vs. creditcard.

Any GFYers not currently on medication (various), not currently accepting 0.0000000001 bitcoin for blowjobs (gspotcumdumpster), and not senior citizen forum spammers (brassniglet/paul markham) care to chime in?

Piracy doesn't affect your porn business, bad content, bad value, and outdated business models do.

Oh I don't know, drugs and weapons perhaps? Nothing wrong with either of those, if they're being exchanged voluntarily. No victim, no crime bro.

Idiot.

If there's CP on there then report the site to the FBI, the CIA or Interpol.

Cunt.

Purchasing or owning a weapon is not an act of victimization because no force is being initiated against another person or property, therefore no crime has been committed.

Try again with your bold quotes.

We all know you don't take bitcoin you disgusting twat. Normally you have to make at least a few vanilla sales a week (creditcard/paypal/bank/etc) in order to see some bitcoin transactions mixed in. Since you can't sustain your server bills with creditcard sales, it would be pointless to try and accept bitcoin for your "content"

You spend your days hooking and spamming gfy wondering why you can't make any sales. I spend 5 minutes or less of my day posting about it. That's about it.

Wow that will be hard to monitor and hack and use to collect data. It is clearly foolproof. They will never be able to crack it. The fact that they were able to crack every other untraceable system means nothing.

There are more government contractors in northern VA than the rest of the east coast combined.

Did my post really go right over your head? I don't give a fuck what legislation says constitutes as a crime.

You never heard of "no victim, no crime" before? It's a philosophical assertion that regardless of what the law says is crime, if there's no victim, in all actuality, no crime has been committed. What a bunch of crooked suits scribble on a piece of paper is one thing, what happens in reality is another.

So I'm for counter-economics, agorism and civil disobedience as a way for otherwise peaceful people to exchange products voluntarily.

LOL YUP derp di derp!

Oh ok, so laws don't matter. Tell that to the cops when they bust your ass for purchasing an illegal (ILLEGAL) firearm online from some peer to peer network. "Hey Officer, I never USED it to commit a, you know, CRIME. What do you mean the act of purchasing it WAS a crime? Huh?"

Derp.

Anyone selling/buying a firearm from someone in a different state better not even think about shipping it across state lines unless it's to a Federal Firearms Licensee. (licensed gun dealer)

"Under Federal law, an unlicensed individual is prohibited from transferring a firearm to an individual who does not reside in the State where the transferee resides. Generally, for a person to lawfully transfer a firearm to an unlicensed person who resides out of State, the firearm must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) within the recipient’s State of residence. He or she may then receive the firearm from the FFL upon completion of an ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check"

Go ahead, try telling "no victim, no crime" to the ATF or FBI.

No victim, no crime? That might be some kind of philosophy, perhaps. It has nothing whatsoever to do with law. In reality, a crime is committed by breaking a law, regardless of whether there is a victim, and having a person or person with judicial imprimatur affirm that a law was broken. The presence of a specific victim might compound the culpability, or cause new charges to be introduced, but lack of one is not always even a mitigating factor.

Smoking marijuana in your home is a victimless crime. Prostitution between consenting adults is a victimless crime. Invite a happy prostitute to your home, get some weed, and call the cops. Let us know what happens.

Just talking about/planning a victim-less crime can land you in jail for conspiracy to commit that crime.

Derp.
Again, I fully recognize the consequences of breaking laws. My point wasn't about that. My point is there shouldn't be laws against victimless activities and breaking such laws is not immoral. Therefore I'm a fan of a network that allows people to do what they should have been allowed to do all along, like buy drugs or weapons.

Laws don't dictate morality. If they did, it would have been moral to force blacks at the back of buses, or own them, or kill jews.

You spend your days hooking and spamming gfy wondering why you can't make any sales. I spend 5 minutes or less of my day posting about it. That's about it.
hey, keep talking about what you think we do... you make me laugh you worthless piece of shit. I don't give what you do or who you are a second thought, too busy eating tapas, drinking wine & enjoying the sun on the balcony shooting new content for my site & camming for my online friends

Keep up your endless foul mouth, when you're gone, you're gone

Why would anyone download this unknown shit on their computer? Are they short on malware or something? Unless this on the darkweb accessed by a Tor browser, the FBI can follow every damn link, user and IP on it. Using Bitcoin doesn't protect you either unless you wash it. This kind of program has been on the darkweb for years.

Gary, you just come across as a twat.

But its up to you.

My advice to you is not to yet again hyjack the thread in order to spam your site that does not convert.

Anyway, its up to you.

From a moral perspective I tend to agree with you. Drugs (some of them, not all) especially. Legalizing all "vice" is an option tho one few Governments are willing to even try. It seems like you can have some freedoms while others you cannot have so again I tend to agree with your philosophy.

But having all this conducted on a peer to peer network, with Bitcoin etc....it's less of a "protest" and more of "let's see what I can get away with" kind of thing.
