While I'm one to agree that state/local officials have more impact on your day to day lives there is a difference.

Bush put thousands of American soldiers lives on the line in 2 wars. Obama for the most part got us out of those wars.. sure the aftermath is still in question but it's not our troops doing the dying..

If McCain had won over Obama you can damn sure bet he would of tried to put us in Iran. That guy is a war monger like no other.

Now with Hillary or Trump honestly I think both will likely start a war...

This scares me more than you can imagine because I am recognizing the same pattern that happened in Yugoslavia. Watched tons of warmongering videos and people talking about the war. War propaganda from Serbian, Croatian, Slovenian sides...

Just listen what that general is talking. Fucking idiot, thousands of miles from US soil he is saying that someone is threatening his way of living. WTF?! But someone still listens and believe to that crap without asking what are his motives.

Everyone should calm down but first ones need to be those who made this mess and who profit from war for decades. We all know who is that, right? They don't have anything to loose really.

There is the scenario I am hoping for.

Syrians/Russians will end this mess fast with the fall of Aleppo. Missiles are already there and no one with a little brain would risk attacking.

No one will go further because everyone has nukes now. We are not talking about a local conflict between tribes anymore.

There are plenty of countries for the US to bring war and democracy there. They will find another place for this business easily. Venezuela for example, they are rich and unstable. Although the terrain is fucked up for easy war. But anyway, Middle east is a total mess now. Just like any region after the war.

With the oil, it makes the situation worse because the rulers can incite the sheep to go grab another countries oil. If there were no oil, the West wouldn't care. The list of genocides the West ignored is long. Which of those countries has oil or any very valuable resource?

Let them kill each other and stand back till the winner is announced and use money to bring them over. This should have been done with many countries the US insisted on getting involved in. To what benefit to Americans?
