The problem is Russia & Iran do the same.. When the US was at war in Iraq, the rebels were funded by Iran & Russia. You act as if only the US does this but Russia's entire game was funding "revolutions" since WW2. Your wrong again.. it's been shown at the time we went into Afghan, bin Laden "was" very much still in Afghan. bin Laden escaped to Pakistan when Bush Jr took his eye off the ball to send troops to Iraq.

The very reason we are still in Afghan (which we aren't actually fighting now) is because Bush didn't finish the job of winning the war. His only real objective was attacking Iraq he never cared about bin Laden.. Bush allowed the Taliban to regroup and set up operations in Pakistan where they were no longer attack-able.

I never said there was a cut off date.. there were loads of places the same things went on.. Cambodia, Vietnam, Russia was supplying the revolution in both..
