As for the Washington Post...first of all they are one of two newspapers (the other being the New York Times) that came right out in the campaign and proclaimed that they weren't even going to pretend to be unbiased journalists and are actively working AGAINST Trump.

Further...if you read the CNN report it says:

- Flynn had multiple discussions with Russia about sanctions and then lied about it.
- Flynn was fired because of this.
- Micheal Cohen met with Russian officials and hand carried a Russian plan to the White House (and then lied about it).
- The White House is trying cover all of this up, going so far as to tell the FBI to stop reports about it.. which is COMPLETELY unethical.

You are telling me to question the "stuff I am being fed". EVERYTHING is telling me the same exact thing - The Trump administration had multiple points of contact with the Russian government is obviously covering it up.

That is fair, but saying that taking sanctions against Russia after finding clear evidence of them meddling with elections (something Trump has even admitted to eventually) was purely politically motivation is way off base. That is a borderline act of war. Spying is one thing, everyone does that, but meddling in elections is not something ever EVER to be taken lightly. I find it hard to believe you can be partisan on such an issue.

This is my point.

ALL of the evidence here points to the Russians influencing our election, and all of the evidence points to Trump and his campaign having constant and regular contact with the Russian intelligence communities. There is not one shred of evidence that disproves this.

Combined with the constant lies, the cover ups, directing the FBI to dispute the Russian / Trump connections, the fact that Trump refuses to release his tax information, and there is this....

The number of ties between Trump and Russia is staggering. STAGGERING. The majority of the loans Trump gets is through Russia. Then there is Flynn who flew to Russia last year to celebrate "Russia Today" (i.e., Russian propaganda channel) with Putin no less Manafort who worked more or less worked for Russia while in Ukraine.

Why wouldn't we investigate this to the fullest of our ability? Why isn't all of Congress demanding an investigation? Instead we have the White House attempting to influence the FBI.

Newspaper editors don't typically allow the printing of a story based on unidentified sources...unless they are confident that the source can be defended at least 3 layers in...otherwise everyone and their brother would be filing charges against the newspaper

If there is so much un-truth being spouted as I see a lot of people claiming here...why have no suits been brought....you would think that someone like Trump who lived in courtrooms for years filing suits would jump on this....just doesn't pass the common sense test

CNN is still going to be able to be at every White House Press Conference. Just like always.

BUT...the White House press secretary always has "unofficial" get-togethers called a "Gaggle" as well.

In the "Gaggle" a press pool is formed and that pool is used to get the info out to the rest of the media.
It's basically a daily discussion.

The press secretary decided to EXPAND the pool to include a few more people than the normal one or two people allowed to attend.

CNN and the New York Times were not invited and tried to CRASH the "gaggle" with no clearance.

They were turned away.

That is the REAL story.
Not the stupid shit that CNN has on their front page and that Rochard is repeating like a parrot.

You would think by now that Rochard would simply have researched this.
