btw - i have made my point on here several times - which was that we (the west) should have kept our promises in regards to properly funding UNHCR so that all refugees could have stayed in the countries surrounding Syria.

But no, we dodged paying up to the point where no proper care was possible and people started fleeing from those camps as well - and ended up on our doorstep.

In short: we (the west) first profit from selling weapons, then bomb the shit out of those people, then give a shit what happens when the population flees and then complain when they ask for help.

Maybe setting them up and shoot some would have been more human. Than the other tens of thousands wouldn't have drowned in rubber boats and make smugglers and NGO's rich.

Now we have a boattaxi between Libya and Europe, every week people are drowning. Australia just put them back to where they cam from. And that is working better. And with more checks you could see that 85% of the people on the boats aren't even refugees.

So in the end; Merkel and the whole of the EU are just incompetent. Countries (that only get money from the EU)d don't want them and expect the western counries to take them.

And now we are here with the biggest disaster in Europe that is a threat to the EU, triggered by merkel's guilt.

And what money was promides and not given? The red cross have more than enough. And else they could have do a TV show like they did with the Tsunami and in no-time there would be enough money.

There where other solutions, support red cross, don't go the EU route yourself, but donate directly and pay later less to the EU to compensate it etcetra etcetra.
