Except for this little problem. McCabe stated under oath "There would be no FISA warrant without the Steele dossier"

The dossier has been debunked since before the election. You and others like you are just unwilling to accept it.. The FBI fired Steele shortly after obtaining the warrant because they knew it was false.. They claim they fired him because he was talking to the press after.. But they knew he was feeding yahoo info which they used to corroborate the dossier.

Kinda makes the dossier have unverifiable elements at this point... but not 'fake'.

Interesting....Gowdy is the only Republican on the House committee investigating Russian meddling to actually see the entire FISA application, and his conclusions are dramatically different than Nunes.

Also, it was widely reported today (except on Fox) that the FISA application did acknowledge the Steele dossier was paid for by a "political entity". Not to mention that the memo shoots its own "poison tree" theory in the foot by acknowledging it was Papodopolous who triggered the start of the investigation much earlier by bragging the Russians had compromising emails on Clinton and would be releasing them to help Trump - just weeks before hacked DNC emails were leaked by Wikileaks. Oh and the small side note that several other Governments intelligence agencies were warning the USA to look into Russian interference.

At this stage anyone who's seen the original warrant and spoken is not concerned, yet those who have not seen it are up in arms over it.

There is a huge difference between opposition research and a foreign government hacking the opposition political party and giving you information.

GPS Fusion is an american research company. There is nothing wrong or illegal about hiring it.

However, conspiring with a foreign power to have their intelligence agencies illegally hack your opponent, give you the information, and then post this information online is completely illegal.

As for the missing emails, Hillary Clinton did not order delete the emails herself nor did she order the emails to be deleted. If she did, it would be a crime. This is not the first time this has happened; Under the Bush administration millions of emails got deleted.

The memo doesn't change or alter the investigation at all. That was never the intent of the memo. The memo was written and released only to change the way Americans view the investigation, to imply this was a political witch hunt.

Carter Page was under investigation long before Trump announced he was running for President. Even without the dossier there still would have been an investigation. If it wasn't due to Carter Page, it would have been because of George Papadopoulos and his actions in London.

There is still so much more we don't know. Why was Flynn having conversations with the Russian government, and what did they discuss? Sessions too. Sessions claims he met with the Russian government as part of his work on the Committee on Armed Services, yet NO ONE else from this committee ever met with anyone from the Russian government.

There is so much we do not know. There are other people - so called "coffee boys" like Carter Page and George Papadopoulos that we never heard of - that are a part of this that flip.

We might assume a couple of things.
The current RNC charge is to 'free' Manafort and Papadopoulos.
They are the chief witnesses against Trump.
You must get evidence obtained against them thrown out.

2nd
If/when Mueller concludes, he is not likely to do more than drop all the intelligence on congress's lap. So it really is a matter of timing. Does it happen while it is controlled by the GOP or possibly when it is controlled by the DNC. So there is a sense of urgency by trump and RNC to make this go away very soon.
Or we are going to have a real fight trying to charge a sitting president. Much of that depends on the charges and if it affects the duty of the working president. most of which will likely be decided by the Supreme Court.

So it is more likely going to take public pressure to really get to the bottom of this.
That is if there is any backbone to know if and to what extent any foreign powers has influenced top officials of our government.

The dossier has lots of verifiable facts. Just because one source died doesn't mean they cannot verify what he said.

The data was transferred at speeds much faster than the Internet could provide- it was a flash drive at the server, not a hack over the internet. This is indisputable.

Also, it was widely reported today (except on Fox) that the FISA application did acknowledge the Steele dossier was paid for by a "political entity". Not to mention that the memo shoots its own "poison tree" theory in the foot by acknowledging it was Papodopolous who triggered the start of the investigation much earlier by bragging the Russians had compromising emails on Clinton and would be releasing them to help Trump - just weeks before hacked DNC emails were leaked by Wikileaks. Oh and the small side note that several other Governments intelligence agencies were warning the USA to look into Russian interference. At this stage anyone who's seen the original warrant and spoken is not concerned, yet those who have not seen it are up in arms over it.
