Yeah you're right he just talked shit, lied & bluffed via Twitter like he does everyday to get by, day by day nothing special, or hard earned about that, Kim Jong Un has been doing the same thing for years.

Truth.

And what resulted from that shit talking, lying and bluffing?

That question is for others. I already know your position. Trump supporter Elmer Fudd caught molesting rabbits and ducks.

Add Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush, etc to that list of American Presidents that did nothing.

Paul, pay attention. The last ambassador to South Korea took the only cell phone with him and we haven't been able to speak with anyone there since then. They had no choice but to decide the U.S. will have no role in their future and decided to take security matters into their own hands. No consultations with Washington ensued.

In basically everyway that's exactly what Moon will have to do and face if they sign it.. what's America's purpose there again? One the signing is done.. then the real work starts and it will be full of conflict.

Is it possible at all that there are things we don't know? Is there any chance that people on a porn message board don't have the same information that say, military intelligence has? Maybe they could have informed the decision making of President Trump and he didn't unilaterally threaten fire and fury without any fear of civilian American lives and similar callous disregard for all of South Korea and what would happen there? Is it possible he's not completely insane? I already know what 2 people will say.
So North Korea didn't kill Kim's brother with VX? They didn't test 100ktn nuke bomb, nor did they pop a missile over Japan for the hell of it and they don't have a military all trained in Chemical and biological weapon deployment?.

USA flew 3 fully loaded b52 bombers straight at the country and turned them 15 miles out... Trump must have amazing faith in north Korean satellites and military intelligence to trust not only that North Korean systems worked but they didn't fail. North Korea very much can hit back at the USA, most countries couldn't but they could. Its not a war they could hope to win, but they surly could punch some knock out blows.

I hope the North and the South can come to some peace deal, if America stopped provoking the situation if might of happened years ago, fuck America can't even make peace with its Mexican neighbours so why the USA thinks it can do it in more foreign lands I have no idea.

Denuclearize the North, remove sanctions.. China moves in to North Korea and takes over.

I'm not sure I understood? You are saying that South Korea is going to tell the U.S. to fuck off in the region? That is your prediction?

re: America's purpose - I believe the policy of the U.S. Government is changing. What it was before will not be the same as it will become, and is becoming, every day. We had bad actors dictating insanity - bombings, invasions, millions of innocent people dead. Personally, I don't care who gets the credit as long as it ends. I have merely pointed out that it is a ludicrous notion that South Korea ignored our partnership in the region and acted unilaterally to have a peace summit, with ZERO influence of their PARTNER.

If you guys have business partners, I sure hope you don't treat them that way.

To be fair, President Moon's comments were in response to the widow of the late South Korean President Kim Dae-jung, who suggested that President Moon should get it. Ever humble, Moon really only wants peace and would be happy to give our substantially less humble President the prize instead.

Of interest in the article is this quote:

"In January, Mr Moon said Mr Trump "deserves big credit for bringing about the inter-Korean talks. It could be a resulting work of the US-led sanctions and pressure".

When will Mr. Moon stop lying to the press about President Trumps deserved credit? We have it on very good authority of two posters here that Trump deserves NO credit at all and that the U.S. had NO role in this process.

President Moon is a great man, but I wish he and his officials would stop lying to the press about this issue.

Imagine the shock of our troops when they learned that the South Korean government took it upon themselves, with ZERO coordination with the U.S., their best ally and partner in the region, to hold an unprecedented peace summit without our support. That's right, you heard it here at GFY first - we had NOTHING to do with this, despite the lies told by the South Korean President and his foreign minister giving credit to President Trump.

Everyone knows that showering Chump with praise will work. SK needs america if they want to end the war with NK and get a better trade deal. The moment Chump thinks he's being fucked with he go on a rampage and lie . So it's in their best interest to stroke chump's ego.

NK leader has met with China's and SK's leaders which has more to do with anything. While chump sits on his ass and tweets.

Yes, I have understood the arguments of your compatriots. President Moon Moon Jae-in of South Korea is a liar and is attempting to perpetrate a fraud by giving credit to President Trump because that is what works.

I wonder how this strategy would work for Iran? They need to get on the bandwagon soon since EVERYONE knows this is the path to success. Why are they being so mean to President Trump when all they have to do is shower him with praise to get whatever they want?

Prediction: This claim will be forthcoming soon as President Trump deals with Iran. But, of course, it won't be anything he does. There will be some reason he will not have ANY responsibility for ANYTHING good that happens over there.

You're correct. There are no current negotiations for President Trump to meet with Kim Jon Un. He's just tweeting from his chair. Why would Kim first meet with his benefactor and neighbor, China? How rude! And he meets with South Korea first as well? His blood brothers? This makes no sense.

because that's not their style/strategy of diplomacy. Why doesn't Merkel shower trump with praise? why doesn't she get on the bandwagon? because it's not her style.

it is macron's style of diplomacy when dealing directly with trump. it's also moon's. it's also the same style some US business leaders adopted when high 5ing themselves for handing out minuscule employee bonuses due to trump's corporate welfare tax bill.

many leaders realize that praising the president reaps benefits.

if i were to fathom a guess, i would bet moon is praising trump to try to make sure trump does not blow up the moon un deal.

So the reason is, unless President Trump receives praise for something he has taken no part in, he will blow up a peace deal, potentially risking war, death and destruction.

And that seems more likely than the South Koreans think he might deserve some credit?

Oooooookay.

Hey, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

wrong. what i stated is exactly opposite of how you misunderstood it.

what i stated is moon is smart enough to know that trump responds favorably to praise. not that trump is smart enough to actually have a plan.

reality dictates trump's already risked war(s) and continues to do so. He'll blow up any and every deal he feels like, that's a fact, not an opinion.

I disagree with your analysis of what you have written, even if it was not your intent. What you frame as diplomacy, others might rightly call lying. It is diplomacy if President Moon has the majority of the credit (which he may well have) and yet he gives that credit to President Trump. If Trump has NOTHING to do with this peace accord and they are saying that only to curry favor, that is lying.

I also disagree with your opinion (hardly fact - look up the word) that Trump will blow up any deal he feels like, but who has the time...

What part did the US play?

Did the US set this meeting up? Did the state department play part? The Secretary of State? Our ambassador to South Korea? Was anyone from the United States part of this meeting? At this meeting?

The United States played no part in this. We didn't plan it, we didn't organize it, we didn't supervise it, we didn't even have someone there.

Maybe this was exactly what was needed - the United States (and other countries) to top interfering with the peace process.
