It doesn't surprise me. Trump does nothing but bitch and complain about it every fucking day. Eventually, his plan to beat people into submission started to work.

But those people don't matter in the midterm elections. Those are always about getting your base to turn out. I think Trump's non-stop bullshit will end up biting him in the ass in November. . . Maybe I'm wrong. I guess we will see.

In order for that to be true, more people have to agree that they are seeing non-stop bullshit from Trump.

I may be wrong as well - but it doesn't look like that is the trend. It LOOKS like it's the other way around to me. If it isn't, there would not be any logic to your statement -

"Eventually, his plan to beat people into submission started to work."

Which implies that whatever plan he is using is working.

Five agonizing months to find out for sure.

Maybe I wrote it incorrectly. Really what I meant is "Eventually, his non-stop bullshit started beating people into submission."

I don't know that it is a plan, per se, but more just him being who he is.

It's odd you can't see the potential strategy. It makes perfect sense and perfectly fits. And there's absolutely nothing shady about it. You've yet to explain why gop senators turned on Trump over trump and Rudy's comments about self pardon.

You certainly can't claim Rudy was thought through. Or bolton. Or the revolving door legal team.

That's all 9 dimensional chess right. Or a big joke played on Americans by trump.

Fair enough.

I understand where you are coming from and I sympathize with the outlook - it's where I was a year ago. I'm not giving up on you!

I've yet to explain? Was I asked to explain?

It should not only be the GOP but EVERYONE should come out against him pardoning himself. That is such a ludicrous proposition anyway, but fun to talk about at parties I guess?

What is with the 9 dimensional chess thing?

It's what the thread is about.

trumps negotiating tactics are so complex, I liken them to be similar to what I imagine 9 dimensional chess would be like if there were such a complex game.

Let us make no bones about it. Trump can lick my nuts. I will give him credit when he does something I think is good and I will criticize him when he does something I think is bad. That said, I will never vote for him after the shit he and his administration pulled with Obamacare in the last few weeks.

In case you don't know, 20 Republican states have filed a lawsuit saying that Obamacare's individual mandate, now that the fine amount will be set to zero, is unconstitutional. Sessions issued a statement that the justice department will not defend the law against the suit. Essentially, handing them a win (however a number of Democrat states have stepped in to fight the suit). The problem is that the part of the law that makes it so the insurance companies can't turn you down due to preexisting conditions is linked to the mandate, even if the fine amount is set to zero. If it is eliminated, so will the protection for preexisting conditions and most people like me will be kicked to the curb.

They could have just left it. Let the tax law kick in and set the fee to zero so it is no longer a problem but they want it to collapse and this is a perfect way to sabotage it. So, fuck him and them, they want to take away my ability to buy health insurance, they can lick my balls.

It makes sense to you, because of the way you look at Trump.

It makes NO sense to me.

Your suggestion runs as follows:

You are a married cheater and your wife has hired a private investigator to look into your past comings and goings.

You know the private investigator has contacted your girlfriends and is talking to them.

So, rather than contact the girls themselves in secret and tell them "Hey, don't tell him anything and I'll make sure good things come your way" - which seems like a MORE logical strategy than yours, and what any sane person would do - instead, you take out an ad in the paper with pictures of the diamond ring you just bought for someone else's girlfriend because you thought their boyfriend treated them unfairly - and hope that your girlfriends understand the message. And that your wife thinks that's perfectly normal as well.

Like I said - it makes sense to you.

Oh poo. I was like - what am I missing? LOL.

Also, while I am a Trump supporter, it is the agenda that I support and the man himself is simply a conduit to make it happen. I don't pretend he is some super genius negotiator who knows all. He's bright enough I suppose, but what is happening far transcends the abilities of Donald Trump. He knows it, too.

Here's your single largest problem.

The same problem of Hillary Clinton and all the rabid "i hate Trump and every single time he clears his throat" of the media and Liberals bs.

The elections were not about Trump.

You guys just won't accept responsibility for the loss.

You guys just won't accept responsibility for the massive losses on state seats right after that.

More seats lost than in well over a century.

You won't accept responsibility for the huge numbers of Obama voters who voted for Trump.

You won't accept that you are the minority right now in governments nationwide and can't seem to grasp that crying and whining and bitching and complaining can't dig you out of that hole... it is the very reason you are in that hole.

All of that had NOTHING to do with Trump.

The voting public has been yelling at you "cut the shit" for going on 2 years now and you still wake up screaming "but but but Trumps a fucking dick". Thats not something people can vote for or rally behind... and when it comes to paying mortgages or having job security, something they give a fuck about.

And NEWSFLASH - Trump was a dick for decades in the media and on his own show. No one was shocked at who and what Trump is. People who voted for him had an opinion about him WELL BEFORE he ran for office.

You guys are completely tone deaf these days to what is important to voters.

Obama sounded like a great change from Bush. He said a lot of uplifting and inspiring things. He did very little. People voted for action. He was the only President EVER to preside over an economy that had 8+ years of growth under 3%. He was horrible on immigration. He "deported more people than any President in history" but he was also the reason that 10s of 1000s of unaccompanied minors piled up at the borders. He was horrible on trade. People, like it or not, on the whole were not impressed with Obamacare. People were tired of the "Obama can do no wrong" relationship with the media. People were tired of him doing things like weaponizing government agencies such as the IRS or selling cartels M4s and other military weapons, or spying on reporters and so on. People were tired of hearing every single day "Republicans ... this", "Republicans...that" as he could seem to grasp the concept that he was the President of EVERY American, not just those who he agreed with. People got tired of him talking about Micheal Brown while his own home town was in flames. People got tired of who was basically one of the best public speakers of our time using the podium to talk about how things were bad and only getting worse, instead of inspiring, motivating and leading. Trump came along and ran for these reasons. He campaigned against all those things. He had a message that resonated with voters. It turned out that voters were so disappointed with Dems that htey also voted them out of state governments. Something you guys insist on ignoring in your daily ranting... that this was a referendum against Democrats by the voters, not for Trump.

And here you guys are again... a Russia/Trump investigation that people not only don't believe in, but that has uncovered endless wrong doing by Democrats we well.

Of course, you guys don't talk about that and you live in your own little echo chamber so you're again very out of touch with what the average voter thinks and where they're at and whats important to them because you can't see past "anyone but Trump". I mean fuck. My girlfriend is Muslim. She thinks he's a dick. BUt at least she had the wisdom to say "well, I don't like him, but he's the President now so we have to support him"... but what do you guys do day in and day out? "well, fuck him. I hate him. let's do everything we can to burn him down even if that means burning down the country as well". Voters aren't cool with that., You're going into the midterms in a time where it should be a complete and total slaughter by Democrats but you're again fading in the polls. People are tired of the crying and whining and ZERO concern whatsoever to what VOTERS think is important.

You're talking about Trump firing up Democrats to vote. Holy fuck man! I WISH THAT WAS THE CASE. I would love to see the government re-balanced and see ideas and plans that are bi-partisan. I would love to see BOTH parties actively engaged in doing whats best for the country. But of course... 500+ days in, how many people haven't been confirmed because of Democrats for no other reason than "Trump". Voters aren't cool with sore loser, crybaby bullshit. They are going to vote into office whoever is going to deal with jobs, the economy, immigration, trade and so on. And it's happening right now and if all anyone has to say is "Thanks Obama" 500 days into the Trump presidency in response to the markets rock solid confidence in him, his policies and the economic outlooks as well as the fact that he's bringing BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars back into the country along with jobs then obviously you guys are going to get hammered in the mid terms... because you have no message and you've wasted all this time crying and whining all day everyday rather than promoting a message.... that voters can buy into.

there's no reason or logic to twisting the strategy into a cheating boyfriend scenario. besides, trump would get mad you aren't giving him credit for it.

It will be interesting. I watched a video of Trump/Trudeau earlier and the body language of Trudeau is the most beta behavior we'll see on the world stage for a while. His posture. His body language etc. I cant imagine a scenario where he can match wits with someone who comes off as stern and borderline crazy and who is clearly willing to walk away from any discussion.

He looks like he could be Trumps dutiful, elegant, loving and supporting wife.

therein lies the problem. trudeau doesn't want to make a deal with america on account of trump. We already know tariffs are stifling the CA economy and the dairy tariffs are illegal and protectionist. there's 2 reasons why trudeau won't/can't make a deal with trump, either because he's no deal maker and/or he is acting like a pussy on account of trump.

same with macron.

He may not want to make a deal, but he definitely looks like he's hoping for some light petting and maybe a handjob in those pics. his body language says that there's nowhere he'd rather be than underneath Trump.
