On Social Media lately I have seen the usual suspects advocating a blanket porn ban for Australia.

Now the Murdoch press has started running stories about how bad porn is.

This is not good in an election year.

The average Aussie is becoming more and more offended about anything. The lefties have taken over politics and media. Anyone out spoken against the movement is immoral.

There's a reason why brothels are legal in Australia and it's all historical.

In the mid 1800s there was a gold rush in Victoria that brought people from all over the world. Along with the diggers came the people who supplied the diggers with supplies and that included pub owners and brothel madams.

Prostitution is entrenched in Australian history and in most states controls on prostitution have only been enforced when it suited police.

In all but two States in Australia brothels are legal. Prostitution is legal in most of Australia.

Contrast this to porn and it's another story. It's also a historical fact that censorship has existed for the entire period of federation and in the colonies or states prior. Censorship is now a federal government issue, being in the realm of the commonwealth. There is a body that classifies films, video games, books and other media into categories such as G, PG, MA, R & X.

Most content on sites like Pornhub could not legally be sold in Australia, it would be refused classification. The government already strictly controls porn 'published' in Australia. Any 'porn ban' would simply be an extension of the existing classification system to porn sites and an Internet Filter.

They have tried to do this before under John Howard almost 20 years ago, they'll probably try it again before the next election because it will be a conservative vote winner.

Vaccines have many diseases erradicated. There are some rights which also come into play. Think about the right to education and right to mix in society the sick and healthy making the healthy sick. Actually it is a pretty free country as far as where you can go. Sure there are some areas taken over by other cultures or groups you maybe asked to leave but the most of Australia you can almost go anywhere without problems. The land mass is huge and there is every type of terrain it is certainly one of the most beautiful places. I would think driving around any other part of the world would cause you more dramas. There is a lot less gang culture than many parts of the world sure there is but less of it.

The innocent till proven guilty law is still in place there is a fairer court system than other parts of the world. The real gripe of living in Australia is the thousands of Statute laws overriding Common laws. The tax is very high for individuals but some companies are flaunting it. Even overseas companies trading here are avoiding taxes. The average Aussie pays for the average bum and the companies that don't pay their way. Housing price although presently at a low is still insanely thought the roof.

I love my country and wouldn't want to leave if porn was banned I think there is a lot of change i don't like but even if I disagree with the majority i would want it really to be the majorty and not again catering for a minority.

Unfortunately there are few high quality studies on the safety, making it incredibly difficult to assess the harm against benefit. At the moment belief in vaccines is more about blind faith, the reality is that every vaccine needs to be studied carefully, combinations also, and timing.

Christine Stabell Benn (pro-vaccine), Professor of Global Health, University of Southern Denmark, explains in this recent article that some vaccines (especially non live ones) are reducing life expectancy. Given that most of the vaccines are non live that means that the current vaccine schedule is causing harm, this shows how desperate a need there is to turn vaccines into a real science. They are more harmful to females, so it is time to start creating gender-specific vaccines. At the moment hands are tied, as they say it is unethical not to vaccinate people, so making it almost impossible to study the unvaccinated, meaning we can almost never have a real control in a vaccine study.

I watched someone die of tetanus when I was a kid, it was extremely painful, distressing and prolonged. And all for something that a single shot could of protected the woman from. She was a local corner store owner, I encounter her daily deciding what lollies I could get for my 5 cents. Her daughters horse kicked her and she was admitted to hospital and ended up in a room beside my grandmother. Took them 2 weeks to figure out what it was, but then it was to late, trust me its not something you want to die from.

That is why I go straight to the data itself and carefully analyze it. I post experts here because I know that most of you won't know much about who I am, so probably won't take my word for it, but may well be willing to listen to a known expert.

The results are similar to what she's talking about in the TEDx Talk i.e. pro live vaccines such as measles, and anti non-live vaccines such as DTP, as DTP increases mortality rates.

Firstly people need to wash their wounds correctly, that is the most important part. Next, DTP doesn't always protect you from tetanus, many people die of Tetanus who are up to date on jabs. Next thing is that only looking at one outcome is not sufficient to prove that a vaccine is beneficial to overall health, the jab is known to be regularly inducing asthma, and asthma kills people every day, so one has to weigh up the pros and cons. Unfortunately the non-live vaccines (that's the majority of vaccines in the schedule) are causing more harm than good, so something needs to change.

Yet the study you linked to found that the tetanus vaccine increases mortality rates. I would much rather avoid the jab, avoiding the risk of asthma and avoiding increased mortality risk, and just focus on cleaning wounds properly.
