I have personal account but I cant apply for a new card. I heard the new card is only in some countries. I am in latinamerica, and no one here can apply for it yet

I cannot apply for new card but anyway I've checked 3 ATM machines (each owned by different bank) and none of them had UnionPay logo so it probably wouldn't work anyways.

Lol of course they don't have an unionpay logo, they also don't have a paxum logo or trucash logo.

It's a Mastercard. doesn't really matter who issues it, it will work at atm's with master cardlogo

Its not a Mastercard, Its a Chinese card called UnionPay which is their own equivalent of Mastecard or Visa.

Just Google it for your country, pretty much all countries ATMs started accepting it a few years back, that's why i asked the question about online payments, guess that card can only be used for the ATMs...

I was finally able to order the card today. From a Biz account. So if the interface was blocking you to do it till yesterday give it another shot!

Next step for me is to get it and find out if this does apply with the Paxum Union Pay:

So TrueCash is out of the game, and Paxum didn't arrange for an alternative all this time they had on hand knowing how these TrueCash cards were "Temporary".

Does this mean there is no alternative to TrueCash or Paxum simply doesn't care. This is so lame and amateurish it's not even fun.

Shall we wait 4 months again to get new cards?

If you are not competent to do operate properly, simply tell us so we don't direct our salaries to Paxum and look for alternatives. Sending our funds to Paxum then being unable to use them while Paxum collects the interest rates is down right criminal!

Last week they announced some Chinese cards (UnionPay) and some people have Paxum cards issued by Wirecard.

I think it depends on the region you're from, if you're from EU you get the Wirecard card from Germany. I am in Canada and I applied for the new UnionPay card, it says 10 days for printing and 6 weeks for approximate delivery.

I just called Trucash.

I asked to have my New Temp Mastercard balance de-loaded or sent back to my Paxum account since I can't use it anymore.

They told me that transfers are not possible and that only POS purchases (some merchants) are available at this time.

They also told me that their hands are tied and that the money on the pre-paid Mastercard it is under Paxum's control, not theirs?

I just sent an email to Ruth and Chris few minutes ago and got reply back in less than 5 minutes from Ruth confirming both are still working at paxum no one left the building :thumbsup. Im told Chris is in Columbia for a LALEXPO workshop.

I think this is just another Storm and Paxum will handle it Like they did before. Our " Fav " Rep :) are still working there and provide prompt replied to emails.

I did not have this option at first either, I emailed Ruth and she enabled my account and I was able to apply for a new Unionpay card.
