I cannot apply for new card but anyway I've checked 3 ATM machines (each owned by different bank) and none of them had UnionPay logo so it probably wouldn't work anyways.

I was finally able to order the card today. From a Biz account. So if the interface was blocking you to do it till yesterday give it another shot!
Next step for me is to get it and find out if this does apply with the Paxum Union Pay: Some UnionPay credit cards are also affiliated with American Express, MasterCard or Visa, and they can be used abroad as an American Express, MasterCard or Visa. Maybe someone here knows this already? |

ok I just got the error:
Errors : Transfer to the card is currently unavailable due to our card issuer, Trucash difficulties. We apologize for the inconvenience however it is out of our control. Cards can be used as normal however no new funds can be added to the cards at this time. We expect to have an update from the issuer within the next 3 business days. In the meantime please use our other withdrawal methods; EFT, external card, Wire. :( no EFT in my country :( I just sent a ticket |
So TrueCash is out of the game, and Paxum didn't arrange for an alternative all this time they had on hand knowing how these TrueCash cards were "Temporary".
Does this mean there is no alternative to TrueCash or Paxum simply doesn't care. This is so lame and amateurish it's not even fun. Shall we wait 4 months again to get new cards? If you are not competent to do operate properly, simply tell us so we don't direct our salaries to Paxum and look for alternatives. Sending our funds to Paxum then being unable to use them while Paxum collects the interest rates is down right criminal! |

I just called Trucash.
I asked to have my New Temp Mastercard balance de-loaded or sent back to my Paxum account since I can't use it anymore. They told me that transfers are not possible and that only POS purchases (some merchants) are available at this time. They also told me that their hands are tied and that the money on the pre-paid Mastercard it is under Paxum's control, not theirs? I'm not sure what's going on. |

Is the TruCash situation irreversible or is there still some hope that those cards will start working again?
I am asking this, because I suppose that if we order a new card, our TruCash card will probably become inactive, right? TruCash card still shows as active in control panel. Before ordering a new UnionPay card I would make sure about the TruCash situation. |
