If AWS is too hard, Linode is a really good solution too. It doesn't give you as much as AWS does but it's easier to learn.

I disagree - when you think about all the services offered and how cheap it is, I'd say its really worth it.

I say it's not worth it from a time and usage perspective. Learning the stuff is definitely worth it, but nobody cares if you have an AWS branded "certificate", just that you know what you're doing.

Yep i got same impression , there are companies which will get hard on number of certificates which you have but majority dont know even know what certificates are.
