New AC laws
Starting January 1, 2025, new air conditioners and heat pumps must use A2L refrigerants, which have a lower global warming potential (GWP). This is part of a new mandate from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to reduce the use of hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants.

went to visit a friend in Mexico last month and man she loves her a/c, had it blasting constantly. I was wearing my hoodie even on cam and got a nosebleed from the dry air. didn't say anything cuz didn't want to be all high maintenance and her home her rules, but damn it was an icebox can't live without my wind technology but a/c sucks Quote:
