Your right. My parents taught me how to work and earn my money, which is what I have been doing my whole life. At age 18 I had my own car, own home, and a pretty nice savings. I have been working ever since and supported myself.

It's pretty easy to get on at Mcdonalds. They will only work you 8 hours a day which leave 8 more hours a day to work at Burger King. 80 hours x $8 an hour = $640 a week before taxes. That's what I'd be doing before I started begging for money.

you dont know the full details. I think he said he got laid off. And i also beleive he went to look for another job today.

But lets say he gets a job today, he wont get paid for another 2 weeks, and by then he would have lost a lot of shit..

He was basically in a slump so he had no choice but to come here and beg.

chosing not to help at certain places isnt bad karma, there are people in this would who help at the wrong times and it creates problems, helping is not always the best thing to do.

Rictor I agree but you also need "tide over" money. Money for gas to get back and forth to the job(s) and food to eat until the first paycheck comes in. (Money to tide you over.) Which is usually 2-3 weeks depending on how the pay period runs, what day you got hired on, and all that happy crap.
What really sucks is when they pay every two weeks and you get hired on the day that makes it so you won't get your first check for a month because accounting does everything one pay period behind.

He did say that he spent the morning filling out applications for all of the local burger places and such.

yes he did and he wasnt online the whole day. I have no doubt that he is trying to get a job..

The part that got me is that both is parents are dead due to cancer, and he showed links for the unbeleivers.

Losing both your parents, specially if you are young in age, is one of the saddest and most traumatic event it can happen in your life.

When someone tells me he lost his parent, I don't dare to question or joke with it and you shouldn't either. I guess you need to go through this to understand what I mean.

Unfortunately I was in kind of similar position with Bradley when I lost my father from the same disease at the age of 18. I had a sister 16y.old then, my mother was left without a job and I had to obligatory join army for 12 months. Fortunately we had the financial and psychological support of my uncle and things through time returned to more normal rhythms.

When you completely lack support, any kind of support you don't get through these situations that easy. There's a lot of pain, questions and thoughts that do not let your mind in peace for a single second. If you can help someone that faces a problem do it. If you do not want or do not care, at least don't leave open the possibility to make him feel worse.

Read augusts issue of Money magazine, there was a similar article in regards to luck, which makes perfect sence.. its explained much better than i can, and im sure you would agree.

When someone tells me he lost his parent, I don't dare to question or joke with it and you shouldn't either. I guess you need to go through this to understand what I mean. Unfortunately I was in kind of similar position with Bradley when I lost my father from the same disease at the age of 18. I had a sister 16y.old then, my mother was left without a job and I had to obligatory join army for 12 months. Fortunately we had the financial and psychological support of my uncle and things through time returned to more normal rhythms. When you completely lack support, any kind of support you don't get through these situations that easy. There's a lot of pain, questions and thoughts that do not let your mind in peace for a single second. If you can help someone that faces a problem do it.
