tell them that all the world wide terror came from Iraq...

and if this still doesnt help just tell them saddam is a bad guy ( k thats right but thats no reason)

Yes, the Sunnis who Hussain oppressed.

Seems they hate the 'merican invaders more.

But at least Iraq is uniting to fight the common enemy,

I think all Americans should vote for Bush on the basis that he was probably not the worst president ever.

Give him another term and he might make it to the top

At this point I do not know that it would be good for Senator Kerry to lead our country in place of President Bush. I am not sure that there is a lesser of "two evils" in the upcoming election.

I do not engage in criminal activity...so...I do not fear the police trashing my house or busting me...thank you very much.

george w. bush by far he's such an asshole, maybe once he is out of office all the bullshit surrounding him will come out and america will realize what a deutcshe this man really is.

i've been hearing it a lot from people saying that this war is just another vietnam a battle that we shouldn't be fighting at this point. We got rid of the scum let there own people take back the country.

We know how bad Bush is...Kerry has my benefit of a doubt

What is defined as criminal actiivity is changing as we speak and becoming more and more restrictive under Bush

Give Bush 4 more yrs and you may not have any freedoms left

Let's get real about taxes, while we're at it...You are going to have high taxes no matter which one wins...It just becomes a matter who pays them

With Bush the middle class pays and with Kerry the rich pay...

I'm not rich so it's easy choice for me

While the Republicans spent the couple years of his presidency dogging him they missed the forest too.

Such B.S. man--- here is the lesson,

Kerry= more taxes yes, but then we are spending money we have ( see record surplus in clinton (democratic) years, not creating a record deficite by spending money we do not have.... ( see the facts on the money bush has blown and at whos expense) both presidents will spend the money the difference with Kerry is he enforces the people that will benifite the most to pay for it the most.... Taxes unfortunatly are a neccasry evil if you want good schools, low crime, more jobs (heavy highway, and other goverment subsidized jobs, etc...) a robust economy, and an overall better quality of life i.e. parks, clean air and water you know the less important stuff in life

and about this gas tax every one is crying about.... the tax Kerry said he would vote for ten years ago, was for a 50 cents a gallon tax... well I am no math wizard, but over 2.00 - .50 cents still leaves a lot of profite margins being factored in there call me crazy I know but I just try to understand FACTS.

Now for al the flip flopping you are referring to, 1.) bush does not have such a great record on staying the course either my friend.... but be that as it may, does the world eveolve? does industry evolve? do other countries leadership, and the world stance on many issues evolve? so what is a politician to do? stay in yesterday with their decisions? or should they evolve too? evolving = changing positions... you do the math...

I know this thread is now about politics and not about history but what the heck, I'll pretend someone might actually be able to consider the original question without undue emotion.

Andrew Johnson wins plenty of votes as the worst US President, but the most votes and therefore the title would likely go to the man who lost the White House china in a poker game, Mr. Warren G. Harding.

No, see, I don't hear bullshit on TV and believe it. If you actually look at his voting record and look at his tax plan, you'd realize you're just regurgitation the White house smear campaign bullshit.

Yeah, he voted for NAFTA, and then 15 YEARS LATER voted against it, what a flip flop. lol, that's called realizing something doesn't work and then being smart enough to change your mind, grow up. Changing your mind when it's appropriate doesn't mean you're a bad leader, it's means you're not a Republican who can never admit they were wrong. Please educate yourself if you plan on voting.

...and look how well your prized doctrine of pre-emption is working already! Everyone realizes by now that Iraq was a GREAT IDEA and totally worth the lives and price tag! After all, I've got Bectel stock.

child, this is an adult webmaster board. You've actually had to have made money in this biz before passing judgement on your betters.

Polk is my favorite. He was the only one that realized after you conquer a country its smarter to keep it for yourself instead of rebuild it better than the fools that live there ever could have.
Reminds me of "The Mouse That Roared". It was a Peter Sellers movie based on an even better book that came our shortly after WWII and the Marshall Plan about a small country that was going broke and decided to declare war on the United States and lose as a way of solving their financial crisis. Imagine their surprise when their longbowmen landed in an empty NYC during a city wide bomb shelter drill and reported they had captured the US and would not be responsible for rebuilding us instead.

For anyone who enjoy political satire, it is highly recommended viewing or reading.

No wonder you prop up a fool like kerry and pretend he'd make a leader.
The same can be said with greater detail for Bush

lol, if you say so. Clinton told the CIA to kill Bin Laden, but Bush made up a catch phrase and scarred you with terror alerts every day so I guess that makes him a hero.
He is the first President to declare war on Global "terrorism" which in my opinion is good.,

I personally assumed from the beginning that to establish a viable Deomocratic Republic in Iraq would be a long term project and I predicted a minimum of a decade-three decades...so check back in 9-29 years and we will see how well it worked.
