With all the talk of a new terror attack on US soild coming soon (from the white house) Like General Tommy Franks said about the constitution being suspended or rewritten and martial law being put into effect and presidential elections being posponed or canceled bush would be the american dictator and they wouldn't need to "pass" laws on decency the could just say "no more porn" and we'd all be out of business.

Dirty dirty tricks in the works and bush is coming back from vacation soon... that means the plans he made should be taking affect before you know it! Lets all get ready to pray to god to help bush out in his struggle! *sarcasm*

Since I said in my earlier posts that "IF" I were an eligible voter in the upcoming US election I would at this point be considered as an 'undecided'...... how can you sit there and label me as a Bush supporter?

I give guys like Rich a hard time because I find his extreme opinions to often be just as rabid, malicious, inaccurate and bias as that of what he is attacking. All I said was that in politics, it usually comes down to perspective. Regarding Iraq, one person will say that it was necessary to liberate that country and secure not only their oil but route out the hotbed of terrorism lurking there...... while another, looking at the same event, will say something pithy like "That Bush is an asshole"..... lol........ another will say that we had no business going in there, Bush doesn't want to "secure" the oil or their economy, he wants to steal the oil and to hell with their economy. It's all in your perspective.

If that makes me "pro-Bush" in your mind, then I'm left wondering what's wrong with your mind? I'm simply no fan of someone like Rich who seems to take the political position that his point of view is the only right one and everyone that disagrees with him is "a moron", "idiot" etc.

Personally I'm glad Bush had the onions to go into the middle east and kick ass, that region has needed an ass-kicking for decades now. A hard line on terrorism is what is needed, and Iraq was not only in a strategic position in the region but it was, by all counts, a hotbed for terrorists, led by a man who has openly supported terroristic groups and their actions.

Do I like the idea of Bush also supporting a holier-than-thou dipstick like J. Ashcr<b></b>oft? Hell no. Can I support someone on one decision but not on another? I'm pretty sure I can. And Rich, if YOU don't like it, you can go fuck <i>YOUR</i>self my friend.

You know I never talk politics but something occured to me, that can be simplified in a movie that I saw last night, it was a classic Clint Eastwood movie. It was the typical set up town in trouble being held hostage to the whims of the local thugs that ride in rape, kill, rob and do just what ever the hell it is that they do...with no one until Clint Eastwood who rolls into town then helps the town rid the thugs and brings the peace...

I kind of see the terrorists like the thugs, and the funny thing is do we just turn our back like the town and run? The solution is not a change of personal, is Kerry or anyone else going to do? They will tell you anything at this point to get elected...but the point will always be, do we allow this to just take over our town (USA) or do we stay the course and show what this place we live in is all about? Our very freedom is at stake here and for what ? I am not one of those dumbys who think that if I go away, leave them alone maybe they will go away...

Its like the bully in school, if you are weak, you get picked and controled and pummled...

Hey if it all could be done in a peacful way and talked about as adults that would be great. But this country was not built by talk, it was built by blood sweat and tears, and I am not one of those who will stand by and just close my eye, click my heels, and hope it goes away...

Oh and I see Clint Eastwoods part played her by our very brave and amazing military...I support them and prey for them to kick some serious ass and come home.

yes I can see this, that's probably why it was so hard to get suffrage and the Civil Rights Act past the conservatives, they were protecting the constitution. It had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with not trusting women and blacks with a vote of their own.

No. Isolationism is traditionally a conservative position until very recently, and it doesn't work. Just because you leave them alone doesn't mean they're going to leave you alone, and economically you have no choice but to be involved in international relations whether you want to be or not. Isolationism a la Pat Buchanan is just sticking your head in the sand and thinking nohahahaha else can see you.

What we need to do is be responsibly and wisely involved in world affairs. The problem is that you can't just go and shoot the bad guys. There are millions of them, and they have children. It only works if you slaughter the entire race, and I don't think anyone wants that, right? Most of the problems in Yugoslavia, Iraq and other hot spots can be traced down to artificial national borders drawn up by western powers after wars that are hotly resented by the people living in those countries.

That's probably getting a little too complicated for spaghetti western fans though, I can see your eyes glazing over from here.
