Yeah I Know, They Thought they had bombs. I dont give a shit and its not big talk. I would have grabbed at least one of those short foreign fuckers and jabbed something in him. My hand to god. I admit i would have been scared, but there is no way i would have just sit there if all they had were fucking box cutters. Would you have just sit there?

Then on the other hand, I wasnt there and talk is cheap. I guess i am just really hurt and pissed off. I live in Austin Texas where the presidents daughter lives and go's to school. I party a lot and have seen her all over The City, Shes also a party animal. The increase in FBI and secret service here has increased dramatically. Shes temporarily underground.

I dont really know where im heading with this post. I was just surfing the mighty net and somehow ended up here,with a nasty buzz of course. I probably just needed to vent. Some idiots out there dont even realize how much of an impact this will have on our future. They think its a fucking joke.

from what I understand the people onboard the flight that crashed south of pittsburg did fight back. There was phone call made from a guy on board to his wife. He told her they had been hijacked, they knew they were going to die, but they were going to stop them. that may not be word for word what he said but it's pretty close. So from what I've read several of the people onboard rushed these guys and caused the crash.

If you follow the news you might see that it is seeming very possible that the plane that went down in PA did so because the passangers did try to fight back. They saved the intended target and they are heros.

Well, it's real easy to sit on the sideline after the fact and say what you would or wouldn't do. The fact is, none of us were on any of those flights (thank God), so trying to second-guess those passengers is pretty irrelevant.

Maybe those terrorists told the people that they were going to have the planes simply turn around and land back at the airport of origin, and that if no one did anything all would be fine. As in, maybe they LIED to the passengers, and so maybe on most of those flights the passengers had no idea what was happening.

You are assuming a lot, and saying what you would have done and so forth, but since it is not known what exactly went on, what's the point? It's nice to say what you'd do, but I would never presume to cast any shadow of doubt on the actions or inaction of those passengers. all of whom were literally evaporated by the heat of the explosions. Their bodies will never be recovered because they simply don't exist any more.

I'd like to think that I would wring the fucking chicken-neck of one or two of the cowardly hijackers myself, but you just don't know the circumstances.

The captain of the first plane to hit the WTC is said to have told the passengers "Everything is fine, we are returning to the airport". I wouldn't want to fuck up that deal by attacking 3 terrorists armed with knives... and a bomb.

I also heard there was a transcript of them slitting the throats on one of the planes of the stewerdess. That would be real graphic, and probably freeze everyone for awhile.

I'm with you, if you knew you were going to die anyways...what would you do?

I'll tell you, one of those fuckers tries it again with a box knife on a plane now, after what all has happened, I think they are going to be in for a suprise...probably have the whole plane piling on top of them, trying to get a piece of their hide.

Planes should go on remote control from the ground with radio silence so that the terrorists can't control the plane and can't make demands. The plane would then be directed to a military airport. Sure, they could probably blow the plane up, but isn't that better than letting it smash into a skyscraper?

Passengers were told that if they didn't retaliate, no one would be hurt. Nobody knew that the hijackers were planning to crash the planes. I'm sure if they knew that their lives and the lives of people on the ground were in danager, they would have fought back just like the passengers on the plane that crash in PA

I reckon it'd be *most* interesting to see what happens next time anyone hijacks a plane. It's apparent that the poor passengers this time believed it was the usual scenario of holding hostages etc.

What I heard was that the person telling the passengers that they were returning to the airport spoke in broken english so it was probably the terrorist that had taken over the plane.

Now is not the time to guess why people reacted the way they did. Most people, thinking they wouldn't be hurt, would have done the same thing...nothing.

That said... the last plane was the only one where the passengers knew about the attacks and that plane was believed to have been brought down after an attempt was made, by the passengers, to overtake the terrorists.

I think it goes without saying that people will no longer sit, thinking they will be okay.
