I just really don't understand how they wouldn't just take a minute to figure it out. I mean it went to 8 pages which i really didn't even expect.

all I have to say any show after this who charges me to have girls in a hotel I paid for I'm coming solo to network for about an hour then ditching to party with my friends and girls.

sticking the sponsors all the time to pay for everything is wrong. Its not 1999 anymore margins a tight. plus there is a show like every month now

I will still be attending and I am happy that there is a charge for a badge and that badges are required to get into the hotel.

I do think that there is a happy medium that can be reached for girls that people would like to bring to the hotel during the day for eye candy by the pool and in other places.

AVN had to do someting to get rid of the mooch factor for sure. Not to say that I personally didn't get business done with someone that was around based on Mooch factor at one point in time. But at the same time to get on the show floor and to the seminars there still needs to be a charge for the ability to attend these portions of the event. So I see no reason that the full badge shouldn't cover this event and then there be an alternative to this option for people who want to come hang out by the pool or in the lobby.

I think a good solution has been come up with for the evening guest passes but I think that something similar even a small charge during the day to be able to come and hang out by the pool, meet new people, and enjoy free drinks and a lunch. I mean is it really going to kill someone to pay $30 to $50 bucks to be able to hang out at the hotel all day and eat and drink for free?

Question to Aly would be what is considered evening? For the quest passes? Since the show floor closes at 3pm does that mean the guest passes are going to start being handed out at that time?

Also in the evening are there going to be wristbands or do I just show my room key to get back into the hotel. I am not sure about everyone else, but I usually do not wear my badge 24 hours a day. You may think about using a wristband system like an all inclusive resort does to save us having to have our badges on us at all times.

I agree about getting rid of the moochers

$30-$50 is fine even though we all know how much they are making off of us with everything else and I'm not going into detail lets just say trade shows are very profitable.

We as Sponsors are always getting called out on shit . One time we ask for someone to bend and we get shafted.

I agree, eye candy is a must.

however with that said, I am actually lloking to meet business people not just eye candy. I dont really care about getting drunk and fucking hookers, i wanna talk to people with Traffic, with new technology, with paysites that convert etc....

I agree with eric, there needs to be a happy medium.

I like the 30 dollar a day guest pool pass idea. and if you are worried about moochers using this to get in, then make it so only a sponsor can pay for a pool guest pass, and not just an attendee.

If an attendee wants to pay for a pass for say a girlfriend, or some model or something like that, then make it so they are all approved by AVn before they can recieve a pass. it is really quite simple actually

REAL NUMBERS
CCBILL Purchased two pool side Cabanas at a cost or 5K a piece. That is 10K in sponsorship dollars. For that we got 8 passes. and ability to buy 8 more passes for $150.00 This is not a huge number of passes.

Realize CCbill/CCbillEU/Cavecreek/DRMnetworks have over 14 people coming and only 1 is female and that is my Sister. So we will spend North of 50K on Rooms/Travel/Sponsorships alone. That does not even include the Cristal bills in South Beach

MY PRIMARY REASON FOR WANTING TALENT running around is so that this does not happen.

The guys sit around most of the day at the pool drinking with no girls and they start saying hey lets go to South Beach tonight because there are no girls to TRY to hit on. Then the Evening Partys turn into a bust and my 12 Staff members do not have anyone to network and sell to.

Bradshaw is correct this is not about girls and partying but this is about keeping the right enviroment so people are happy and NETWORKING/BUSINESS can be done.

SOLUTION

Give females a choice an ALL ACCESS Badge for $300 or a Pink POOL LOBBY badge for free.

So AVN has to refund what 50 or 100 max badges for $30,000K That is nothing compared to damage the 5000 posts on this board will do when they talk about the FLORDIA SAUSAGE FEST. How many people will not come next year after hearing that??

This thread snuck up on me, so I haven't read it. But the funny thing is that for the AVN Awards Show, we found out last time that they issue FREE talent passes for active female talent. And others have to pay. Wish we new that in year's past, because I was not letting some of our staff go so we could have some eye candy in our limited amount of spots.

The Players Ball shares the same mentality as RonC. Girls make the event over the top. If Ron has a bunch of women that need to go, and he's also a sponsor, the answer to Ron is "how many will you need".

Our price per Players Ball pass based on the sponsorship packages and passes included work out to be $300 a pass. I have NO PROBLEM giving women that are "eye candy" free passes to make our sponsors happy.

Once you have a sausage fest, people talk shit and your event can go down hill from there, and I've always recognized that.

I dont really care about getting drunk and fucking hookers, i wanna talk to people with Traffic, with new technology, with paysites that convert etc.... I agree with eric, there needs to be a happy medium. I like the 30 dollar a day guest pool pass idea. and if you are worried about moochers using this to get in, then make it so only a sponsor can pay for a pool guest pass, and not just an attendee. If an attendee wants to pay for a pass for say a girlfriend, or some model or something like that, then make it so they are all approved by AVn before they can recieve a pass. it is really quite simple actually __________________ Got any domains to sell? But the funny thing is that for the AVN Awards Show, we found out last time that they issue FREE talent passes for active female talent. And others have to pay. Wish we new that in year's past, because I was not letting some of our staff go so we could have some eye candy in our limited amount of spots.
