Depends on what output format you want, what OS you're dealing with, and how much you want to spend.
For Windows, decent price, most output formats, I'd say Vegas Video, if price is no object, I've heard Avid is the shit For Mac, I'd go with Final Cut Pro. *edit* Or Adobe Primiere 1.5 Pro for Mac or Winblowz |

I have been using Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 for a few weeks now and I fucking love it...the new interface in 2.0 is freaking amazing
it BLOWS premiere 1.5 out of the water as far as accessibility and ease of use |
