Down with all tax subsidies and trade barriers. Not until you can say the EU does non of that shit, will I start to bitch real loudly about anything the US does similiar. What the US is baby shit compared to what the EU has been doing for years.

Of course, dynaspain is one of those idiots that is so blinded with his "america sucks" rage, that he won't acknowledge the same and worse shit is happening over there.

The European economy sucks and yet we have leveled with the
dollar. This only gives an idea how low the US economy currently
is.....not how good Europe is doing...you guys just do even
worse than we currently do....

Of course nobody is allowed to say that because then we are US
haters. I guess the truth hurts huh? Well it's okay son.....I can

The only reason the EU is doing momentarily well is because of the trouble with the US right now - surely that must be obvious to you, but then maybe not, after all if you can miss the major strikes in France due to a slight discussion of removing farmer subsidies or in England during , well during anytime, this might be all a big suprise to you.

The entire world floats with the US dollar - simple enough. If the Bush government would consider putting into place a few of the economic promises we heard during the election, this might be over very quickly and the Europe can go back to remembering when they used to rule the world - Hail Britannia.

Someone should go around and ask:

What would you rather get paid/have US Dollar or EU Euro???

I really doubt that the ratio would be 1:1

WE ALL know that the US rules the world and the World's Economy.

For all the US bashers, don't you remember the Yen??! Back in the 90's we all thought they were the next super power... hmmm where are they now ?!

Of course I also wonder if the Euro will even survive. Seems theres an awful lot of countries over there that are having some second thoughts, or at least political parties that portray it that way...

Go Dynaspain. Completely ignore my entire message and ranted about a weak US economy. Duh? Who the fuck said it wasn't weak? Sure as hell wasn't me, go re-read the message a few times I guess.

I was simply venting against the typical EU-fucker opinion that the US should just open up it's borders and take it in the ass while you subsidize shit. I agree unfettered trade is a great thing, but it only works when both sides play the game. You're at just as, if not more than, fault as the the US when it comes to fucking with trade subsidies.

Now.. where did I mention a damned thing about the US economy? If it makes you feel better, I have no problem saying it's in the shitter right now. Why the fuck would I? It's a fact.

There is no turning back. Eventually the UK will give in as well. Kids growing up in Europe today will not have the same issues with the Euro that their parents and grandparents do.

Actually the support for the ? is stronger than ever before.

But we all know that the ? wont stay on top of the $ everybody who thinks that is dreaming. You don't have to go much more than 3-6 months back when the dollar was on top with 1:1.3 or something like that.

The $ will grow strong again or so I hope as all my income is paid in $ and converted to danish kroners

just my anyways

OK so the $$ is down against the Euro.

When I first moved to Czech, we got 40 Czech crowns to the $$

We now get 30 or less to the $$, so do not tell me you're doing fine when your currency is falling against a country who has only been capitalist for 12 years.

And Bush was brought in by big business

He's only stirring up Iran to take attention away from the job he's doing or not doing in his own backyard.

Very true. Most of the people who don't want the Euro here in the UK are old conservative cronies who remember 'the good old days' before we even went to decimalization. The younger generations are already getting used to the Euro and finding it easier to use. It is very handy to be able to get on a ferry to the mainland and be able to drive between countries without having to stop at a Bureau de Change. Within the next 10 years or so (at the longest) the UK will join Europe in the Euro.

BTW, Lev...

You need to get out of Boston and come live in my neck of the woods. $240,000 (roughly £160,000) would get you a nice 3 bedroom house with a 1/4 acre of land in a nice neighbourhood 'round here.
