I don't know, we had a pretty fucking cold winter up here this year. Lots of weeks of -40 (and colder).

Where's the warming?

CO2 is an STD now?

Here is a better analogy. Your river water has 0.055% impurities in it. When you scoop it out into your drinking vessel the vessel (man made) adds 0.005% more impurities to. It's no cause for alarm.

The Russians don't believe the Global Warming hype either.
So much for your theory on that point.

I'm talking an apples to apples comparison.
Lets say 10,000 miles on any of the three.

Who said I was for polluting. I'm not.
I believe we should recycle as much as possible as well.

I've generally given up on this 'argument' since it is best left up to the experts. I do follow the discussion and evidence on both sides, but at the end of the day I'd rather err on the side of caution when our environment is concerned. Even among scientists this is a very hot-button issue.

Fortunately most countries have adopted Kyoto and other regulations to decrease the amount of pollution their companies produce. I think the most important argument is what the proper steps are to reduce air pollution and water pollution and other things that have an undeniable impact on us. Any type of greenouse gas benefits will follow suit. I don't think anyone on either side would argue that making cars cleaner and factories cleaner and not dumping toxic materials into rivers and water supplies is a GOOD thing.

I support regulations on companies to produce clean vehicles and factories and power plants. That has a direct affect on quality of life for everyone. Whether humans are directly causing a greenhouse effect will be debated for years to come, so I for one will watch as an interested bystander.

Regulating companies always scares me. Get everybody thinking we are saving the planet, put big restrictions on what companies can produce, and what people can buy. Pretty soon, they start saying online porn is causing children to become perverts. Let's err on the side of caution, and start regulating more on what people can sell online. 2257, COPA, all under the guise of protecting children. We all know that is not what they were up to, but people not in the biz would support them all day long, right? Leave companies and individuals alone. Stop making up junk science so you can tax us and control us more. Everybody wants a clean environment, and all electric cars would be fantastic.

Yes, Mars and Earth are completely separate. Can you consider the possiblity that Earth and Mars are heating up for the same reason "solar intensity"? What if Al Gore told you it was true, would you believe it then? And I don't think you are a dipshit, just because we don't share the same opinion on this issue.

So if you don't believe in something it's not true? So if you stepped in front of a train and as long as you didn't believe the train would kill you, you'd live?

"solar intensity" even though the sun's intensity is 30% LESS than what it was during the age of dinosaurs? Go look it up.

Hmm odd tha during the middle ages it was much hotter than it was today. So even if its 30% less than it was during the age of the dinosaurs its still might be much more intense than it was during the last ice age ya think?
