Why I love APIC
I got an email yesterday from a client, saying the content he had bought from me and his design had been stolen and was being posted by another webmaster. I checked it and found it to be true.
Once I tried to trace the thief, I found his URL info false and his emails bounced. So informed APIC, the whole site and TGPs were down inside three hours.  And if he tries to pop up again we will close him even faster.I know a lot of you do not like or support APIC, but when you are fighting in the jungle, you need a warrior with attitude watching your back. OH yes forgot to mention.
Been getting a lot of ICQs and emails asking how we are, due to the floods here in Czech. We are fine, we are 120 miles away in Moravia and though it is raining hard and often, it's in Bohemia where it's getting it really bad. Just cannot get to our film processors or get Prague models out of the city  |

Fuck Apic...they have closed down sites of mine which had my content on...theyare a bundle of useless tossers who fuck up everything they do..I remember when one off the founding partners died and I sent an email to the other saying "glad your mate is dead when are you due to depart"

I got a letter from them today. I was soooooo tempted to report that asshole to the florida bar for practicing law without a license.
He makes all these blanket claims and does not even include the info required under the law - and tries to use other laws that don't even apply. DMCA is for COPYRIGHT not TRADEMARKS. If anyone takes ANYTHING of mine down, because of the "DMCA" request he made - I will sue him and Apic. He "signs" these things under penalty of perjury and doesn't mention what is copyrighted or who owns it. He puts in bold print at the top: "NOTICE of COPYRIGHT-TRADEMARK, or RIGHT of PUBLICITY INFRINGEMENT APIC - WORLDWIDE 3325 Griffin Road Ft. They do not suck cock they bite them off, he probably did go through to the the guys ISP. All the info I found was a false phone number, email address and P.O. Box address. The guy wants to run a business like that and steal content/designs then
 APIC recently brought down two large sites harvesting pictures from Newsgroups. It took two weeks and a fight but they came down. Why eventually they found out APIC does not suck cock, it bites them off. |

APIC tried shutting us down because our site: http://www.schoolyardsex.com (ours) was 'infringing copyright' on the site: http://www.schoolgirls.com (theirs) I called them with the "Are you for real?" speech, and after a yelling match, I explained that I was calling to get the issue resolved, and did not appreciate my hosting company being bullied. Fairly shortly it was resolved that yes, my site was made in-house by my graphics designer, and even though one girl of ours was also used on 'schoolgirls.com', we certainly own the rights to the content. IMO, APIC should concentrate more on TGP scum, or direct copies, and less on paysite owners who have 'similar' looking sites. Should they go after DMOZ because YAHOO! introduced the 'category search' idea? |

1) Sponsors that refuse to do business with APIC - without a PROPER signed copy of a DMCA request. 2) Hosts that refuse to do business with APIC - without a PROPER signed DMCA request. 3) Content providers that do not use them 4) Anyone other business that will not honor anything other than PROPERLY FORMED DMCA requests. In order to be on the list - you must also agree to accept counter DMCA requests from the viictimized webmaster. I mean alleged... |

I try. I figured I know I won't get scared and shut it down if steve comes a whining. Also, my host didn't shut down a site when the FBI asked - so they aren't going to for him....
My design skills suck - so if anyone wants to help design it - let me know. I'll put some DMCA stuff on there so people KNOW how a REAQL DMCA request looks and how to respond toa REAL DMCA request. |

I know a few designers who hate APIC so they maybe perfect for this job...what elese do we need? I have a search engine type script we could use http://www.xxxstarcash.com/links (please do not submit to this yet as the site is not finished and is the one I am going on about in my signature, give it a week and I will list you) but we could use the backend of that for something on the site.

Below is just one reason APIC sucks.
-------------------------------------------------- We had some problems of copyright infringement with a gallery using Suze Randall's pics. It was a mistake since we're in Suze's program "Pics 4 Clicks", but due to that APIC Worlwide sent a request to our server administrator to get that gallery down. I contacted all the parts involved and I get 2 types of answers: Suze.net and California.net (where I have my co-located server) apologizing and APIC telling me that it was my fault, not theirs. Fuck APIC braindeads! Anyway, in a business where all values (and I'm not referring to stupid moralism, but truth and honesty) seems to be lost, sometimes happens something that feels like a breeze of fresh air, and that was what I felt when I get the reponse from Suze and her daughter Holly (read Holly's mail below) Dear Fabio, I writing you to apologize deeply for the mistake that occurred regarding the deletions of pages from your website, sex-o-pedia.net. Though I was not the one who directly send out the Cease and Desist form, I do take responsibility for all copyright issues regarding our site, http://www.suze.net/. The individual that sent out the notice does freelance work for us since the piracy of our work is so massive- I simply don't have the time to do it all. He is extremely useful to us and rarely makes a mistake, it is just unfortunate that you happened to be the webmaster targeted in this case. As an attempt to make amends, I am prepared to offer you the exclusive use of a photo set that I shot personally. It is a beautiful shoot on a very popular Penthouse Pet who is currently not featured in the Pics4Clicks program at all. It's a snow sleigh set with Aimee Sweet- one of my absolutely favorite shoots.
