If he is an employee and also does his own stuff its obvious it will be from the same computer. At least he has never hidden that from you.

Still at the end of the day its your thing and your rules, but labelling someone a cheater is quite strong wording as it implies out to deceive the system for benefit as opposed to someone who broke your rules/guidelines.

Actually in fairness to Mr. Bond, I just checked his signup page and it does state:

Multiple or Additional Accounts of any kind are Absolutely Forbidden

Thats pretty all-encompassing so you did infringe the rules, you may not be a cheater but it is there even if it seems a bit strong to me.

I do not see the need to reduce this to personal insults - I have worked in the adult business BOTH online and offline for 11 years. My main business has been premium rate adult phone lines since 1996 and it is only within the last 2-3 years I have diversified and developed an online presence.

No I do not think I am the only one running a business but I would like to add I run a professional business and treat my clients with courteosy.

The post you refer to showing contradictionswas made by leroytrolley my employee who still happnes to be male & I still happen to be female. My pixiepromo a/c at thunderball was registered from my own PC. Leroytrolley logs in to my account as my employee from his PC to request trades. I then log in to set up the trades as he does not have ftp access to my servers. Your system will clearly show more than 1 IP address using my account.

You're an idiot for not realizing that there is a very real possibility that nobody involved *has* two accounts. An employee does not *have* the account, he *works with* the account.

If one account was dicking many people over (though he had a somewhat weak explanation for that), ban that account for that reason. Don't ban both accounts for being dual accounts when they might not be. At least, not until you have made sure they're actually owned by the same person.

Did the two accounts sign up with the same IP? (you mentioned you look at more than just IP - many systems of identifying computers based on things other than IP can cause false positives)

Mr Bond the issue I have is that your site states "no multiple accounts" - I had one account containing my sites. If you are saying my pixiepromo account breached the rules by allowing leroytrolley to "handle" my account by requesting links this is not what your rules say & a great deal of grunt work is done in the adult business is done by outsourcing. My pixiepromo account with sites registered with my details which you can easily check have not pissed off anybody so why am I banned?

I'm a programmer as well, and the only way I know of uniquely identifying remote machines with virtually no chance of mistakes (unless you're dealing with rather advanced hackers) is by exploiting clock skews.

Since I doubt that is what you are doing, there is a distinct possibility that your system is capable of making mistakes - unless, of course, you are dealing with someone who is not just a cheater, but a bad one as well. In that case, ID-ing becomes rather easy. (things like IP and cookies or other files would then easily give conclusive evidence)

From what I've seen in this thread, and looking at your site, the bit about "handling" isn't quite as clear. Of course, it could be that you make that clear in your members' area, or have made it clear in emails. And, of course, you have the right to ban anyone from your program, even with only a suspicion of cheating.

Looking at both bbwpixie and leroytrolley, though, it just seems like there are really two different people involved here.Even that could be untrue, naturally, but if it's not, it seems rather harsh that bbwpixie would lose the account for the actions of an employee.
