Alternatives to OpenX
So I installed OpenX to see if the new branding changed anything and I find that it is the exact same things as Open Ads or the previous one (forgot the name). It is still too powerful for what I need and it just gets heavy and complex, something I don't need.
Basically I'm looking for something that can be divided into zones so that I can place, for example, all of my 468x60 banners in one zone and then have the code pull those ads. Obviously I prefer something simple as I'm planning to run this only on a handful of blogs. There's no need for advanced options. I would like it to track impressions and clicks and that's it. |

Its pretty damn simple for a setup like that. Should take you 30 minutes tops from a fresh install to fully functional.
I'm not bullshitting or bragging, I just installed it twice this afternoon. Last time I used anything similar was Max Media Manager over 2 years ago (the predecessor, the one that they released after phpAdsNew) |

I am aware that it is a simple process. I'm just saying, for something this simple, do I really need a database and complex software like OpenX?
It took me a lot less than 30 mins to have it up and running, but this software is designed to manage extensive campaigns, publishers, and a bunch of other stuff I don't need. |

OpenX is your best bet in my honest opinion. Good luck though.
