A) they have way more money than the pilots estates
B) The pilots have families and people who rely on those assets
C) The family of the pilots lost people too.
D) It's not like the pilots were trying to kill everybody on board the plane.

So long as it wasn't negligence, the pilots should walk free (less court and legal fees). I can't imagine how AM/Barker are going to show wreckless intent to cause harm happened.

So he's suing because the pilots made a life or death decision with only seconds to decide. So what would he have done had the pilots got the plane in the air with flat tires? Did he think it would land ok on flat tires? Hell he might as well sue some illegal tubes and McDonald's with all the people this guy is suing.

as sad as it is, its the truth. A company like goodyear might ignore a potential problem because the liability is less than the cost to fix the problem, people almost have to sue or they wont fix the problem. You have to make it cheaper for them to fix the problem than get sued.

you are correct.. in a case like this, you have to name everyone in the suit so that you dont have to have trial after trial suing each possible party responsible..
