Probably my fault for going with a 'discount' designer in the first place. I scrapped the entire design by Sarah/Zuzana for which we agreed $1400 and I paid $900 of that. And with nothing to show for it at all.

I'm having my dating site redesigned by a top-notch design firm for $5k so at least I can get the right look for the site.

I shopped Sarah's design to everyone on my team and they all agreed it was pretty poor. I can post screenshots of the two and you decide.

In fact, you had me do one design and said you "loved it" and then a week later said your programmers wanted a different color even though you already approved the design. Since when does someone exclaim happiness and promise final payment when they are not happy? I've left you emails, ICQ's and I've left messages on the phone number provided by your domain whois, all of which were completely ignored. As you know I do changes until my clients are 100% happy, so I highly doubt that is what is happening here, especially considering your joy at the outcome of the design. I've found numerous threads from other boards, and posts on craigslist about you doing this to designers. Your unprofessionalism doesn't excuse the fact that you hired me for a job, approved and "loved" the design and then didn't hold up your end of the bargain to pay for it.

and yes, you're right .. i thought it was ok, but i don't know shit. I shopped the design to everyone in my company and they all rejected it, almost with 100% agreement, that it did not conform to the specs I sent you (web 2.0 simple style), and that it was not the right color scheme and layout for the site.

As for you redesigning it, well, you've either got the skillz or you don't. I know your speciality is adult and this was supposed to be a web 2.0 dating site, so maybe it's just not in your repertoire to design this kind of site. I'll post screenshots of the new design once it's finished, and you can see what i mean.

That was the very first jpg preview not done in css. You approved the design, it was then done in valid css/xhtml. Then you changed the colors and logo, and I did the css/xhtml on that. You said how much you loved it and then you disappeared.

Thanks, but it really isn't about the money. It's really the principle of the whole thing. It's quite frustrating to chase down a client who says they love something, only to have them become a ghost. If the tables were turned and I didn't meet a deadline for a client and went completely MIA, people would absolutely freak out at the chance to trash me. However, not enough companies or people get called out for doing the same thing. Unfortunately that's something designers have to go through.
I do appreciate the offer if you were serious, but I don't want a hand out. I just think it should be known how poorly he conducts his business.

I disagree. I won't pay for something I can't use, and not designed to my specs. And I did give you $900 for a one-page design that is completely unusable. I'd say $900 for 1 page is more than enough to compensate you for your efforts.

Does anyone notice that this Craigspimp dude seems to see things a little different than everyone else and then absolutely refuses to back off from that position?

It's been explained by the company that he's being paid but they had to move him from an expidited special pay schedule to a regular affiliate pay schedule because of concerns of fraud. It's been explained over and over again that he will be paid the oustanding balance. He completely ignores these posts though, and just goes back to "they're ripping me off by not paying me".

Looks like the same thing with Zuzana. His story seems wildly different than hers, even though he more or less confirms her version after the fact.

You should probably get your stories straight man, you seem confused.

It's not even about the money at this point. If a client isn't happy I will do changes until they are 100% satisfied. You told me you loved it and that money was on it's way. Then you completely ignored icq's, emails and phone calls. You never mentioned being anything but 100% happy until you were called out here.

A quick Google search of your email shows that I am not the first designer you have done this to. This is obviously a losing battle with you and one that will result in nothing but arguing since you somehow think you are validated in your unprofessional actions. I've said what I needed to say and I'll just have to leave it at that and hope people take this as a warning of your character. I need to get to sleep to get up with my son in the morning and I can't waste any more time with this.

PimpMansion runs a shitty program and ignore their affiliates. I thought guys on here should know about it. I'm not the only one they've fucked, either.

Affiliate support should be prompt, reasonable, courteous and payouts should be on time.

That's how I like to be treated and that's exactly how I treat anyone who promotes for me. We go to a lot of trouble to make sure that everyone gets paid DAILY who promotes for us, and feel free to browse our support forum at SHADYDOLLARS.COM if you think I'm just all BS. You'll see 1200+ very happy affiliates on there.

Look, I've sent big traffic to almost every dating site program out there, and this is the only one I've ever had a problem with. All the other programs are on the ball, but these pimpmansion guys couldn't give a shit about their affils, and that gets under my skin.

I'm going to help everyone out here. The guy's name is not Eddie Temple, he is using a fake name from the movie Layer Cake. Go figure, a scammer using a fake name.

He is hosting craigspimp on The Planet. Send an e-mail to [email protected] and complain that he is spamming craigslist. They will take that seriously.

Next go to Craigslist.com and contact their abuse depratment and complain that craigspimp.com is paying people to spam craigslist, they have over 100 affiliates that they pay to do so, and you want something done about it. I already have and spoke to someone named Steve, his e-mail is [email protected] and he informed me that craigslist is looking into legal action so the more complaints the better. Craigslist loves to sue these people and if you tell them he is developing a craigslist autoposter called craigsbuddy, and also owns replygenie.com which is used to spam craigslist they would love to know that.

Just type on craigspimp scam on google and you will see page after page of people he scammed and never paid. I can't wait to see this scumbag sued.

fact: you agreed for some work and you agreed a price
fact: you said you loved it, which means you were happy with the work
fact: you didn't pay
fact: I bet neither you nor any person in the world can define web 2.0 design since web 2.0 is about programming (doh!). Google is web2.0. The New York Times is web2.0. I defy you to find a single thing that looks similar, other than the white background
fact: I bet you didn't ask Zuzana if she's able to read minds, and if so, I assume that feature wasn't included in the price
fact: If you paid too much or if the company wasn't the right choice is your problem, not the other company's problem

I scrapped the entire design by Sarah/Zuzana for which we agreed $1400 and I paid $900 of that. And with nothing to show for it at all. I'm having my dating site redesigned by a top-notch design firm for $5k so at least I can get the right look for the site. I shopped Sarah's design to everyone on my team and they all agreed it was pretty poor. I shopped the design to everyone in my company and they all rejected it, almost with 100% agreement, that it did not conform to the specs I sent you (web 2.0 simple style), and that it was not the right color scheme and layout for the site. As for you redesigning it, well, you've either got the skillz or you don't. I know your speciality is adult and this was supposed to be a web 2.0 dating site, so maybe it's just not in your repertoire to design this kind of site. It's been explained by the company that he's being paid but they had to move him from an expidited special pay schedule to a regular affiliate pay schedule because of concerns of fraud. It's been explained over and over again that he will be paid the oustanding balance. He completely ignores these posts though, and just goes back to "they're ripping me off by not paying me". Looks like the same thing with Zuzana. His story seems wildly different than hers, even though he more or less confirms her version after the fact. You should probably get your stories straight man, you seem confused. __________________ .

Go figure, a scammer using a fake name. He is hosting craigspimp on The Planet. Send an e-mail to [email protected] and complain that he is spamming craigslist. They will take that seriously. Next go to Craigslist.com and contact their abuse depratment and complain that craigspimp.com is paying people to spam craigslist, they have over 100 affiliates that they pay to do so, and you want something done about it. I already have and spoke to someone named Steve, his e-mail is [email protected] and he informed me that craigslist is looking into legal action so the more complaints the better. Craigslist loves to sue these people and if you tell them he is developing a craigslist autoposter called craigsbuddy, and also owns replygenie.com which is used to spam craigslist they would love to know that.
