Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed. |

damn, it couldn't be any more simple
epoch stats programs have an option to pay on its own (not via epoch), so they just get payment from epoch and then decide how to pay their webmasters. i'm saying that webmasters should know which epoch stats programs are paying via epoch (so there's a merged check for all epoch paying programs promoted by webmaster) AND WHICH ARE PAYING ON ITS OWN. |

So you want a new column in the stats with a checkmark if they are paid via epoch.

The search is your friend. Use it. Lets see, I've used ccbill for 8 years on over 50 sites. Epoch was nothing but problems. I've seen more sponsors drop Epoch than any other biller. CCbill is SUPERIOR in every way. If you've been in the industry for more than a couple of years, you'd know about this. If that is lying, then so be it. |

If you use Epoch as your primary biller, you can run MPA3 for free. Epoch makes the payouts. As far as you paying out if you offer a PPS option, that is news to me.

I would say that CCBill and Epoch have different business models in many ways and each attracts a different sort of client, and they always have done so. Some like Epoch, some like CCBill. Some don't like CCBill, some don't like Epoch. More billing options has always been a good thing in this industry; anyone who has been in it more than a couple of months, they'd know about this. If that is lying, you are a fool. |

Being able to payout directly to affiliates if I switched to PPS was an option offered to me, but I usually promote revshare programs and SpookyCash was a CCBill revshare program I was migrating and I didn't want to change to much. I wanted to pay direct because I found that many of my really good CCBill affiliates had no idea how big a part of their CCBill checks were SpookyCash sales. The weird thing is that Daizzzy says Rand told him that any EpochStats MPA3 program might either be Epoch payout or program payout and there is no way for the affiliate to tell which is which. Only I can't get Rand to email me back and clarify what the actual situation is. Which is kinda freaking me out, given that I run an Epoch-powered program and all. I'm guessing he is just on vacation for Thanksgiving and I will hear back after.

if i'm not wrong, Rand works for billing, not affiliate part
anyway i've posted his icq above, try to reach him there. i guess he was just nice to ask that appropriate person at epoch for me and brought me that answer. and btw i completely can't get your point on payment for your program. any webmaster could check his stats for your program and know how much he's getting from you. the same with ccbill they have also had previous version of epochstats, maybe that option was for that version and it haven't migrated to a new one which is currently active |

I mean, it was my experience running a CCBill-powered program that many webmasters who promoted CCBill programs didn't really keep track of which ones were the real sellers. They just sort of, I don't know, used the Force to decide what they thought was selling. There are tools like StatsRemote and NiftyStats, which make it easier for affiliate webmasters to see where their bread is buttered, but the CCBill admin can get pretty convoluted for webmasters who promote a lot of programs and it does not have a way to view $ for all time or really any very extended time period.

Aren't all of the programs within the Epoch affiliate admin paying out via EPOCH and all not being paid by EPOCH have their own affiliate program?
If you are not using Stats Remote you are not taking your business seriously... And it is a right off... |

That is what I thought was correct for all revshare Epoch programs. (PPS has other options.)

What system do you use to keep track of your performance with thousands of CCBill programs, not using StatsRemote or NiftyStats?

and if there's a need to get stats for a specific program, just set it into 'Linked Affiliate' on the bottom of 'transactions' page

Having said that, search any board over the past few years, Epoch takes the prize for having the most problems of just about any biller. |
