I would suggest to setup and use google analytics and see what keywords convert sales and stop the keywords that are not creating sales... and promote more of the converting keywords and increase your ROI

Like SEO, I think you'll find that anyone who is any good at PPC is making their own money. Either way, just a suggestion, but I think you'd have better luck asking on a mainstream forum...

Just a suggestion for you, but if you're working with any CPA networks, talk to your affiliate manager and mention that you're looking for an experienced PPC guy who has proven performance to work with you. They might just be able to hook you up with someone. Some of those mainstream Ams are actually pretty damn helpful...

Agreed. I know a few "mainstream" PPC agency's that take adult on the side. However to find a freelance guy that is as good as you need odds are he/she is making his own money or not as good as he/she may seem.

The actual PPC biz is fairly straight forwards but requires a lot of maintenance and management to keep it finely tuned. That said it's fairly easy to optimize on your own if you have the time.

I really think PPC management is best handled by yourself with a little guidance. There's nothing stopping someone, even with good references, from testing the waters with your money, finding something that works without assuming any of the risk, then running in direct competition to your own promotion. hell, that's exactly what I'd do.

What the fuck is this if someone is good at it he will have his own stuff? This whole business is full of experts at different levels who are only good at working for others yet for themselves they cant do anything. Tons of shooters, programmers etc that are great at what they do but they can only do it for others rather than start their own site or network.

Why I am even explaining this to a bunch of guys living in mommies basement I don't know, but grow the fuck up.

Now again if you are somebody who can manage lots of keywords and tweak based on certain results ill outline for you hit me up.

Don't even try to compare a PPC expert to a content shooter or a programmer. Shooters and programmers work for other people because their skill in itself doesn't make the money itself. Just because someone knows alot about something.. doesnt mean he/she doesnt wanna hire someone to do it. Its called delegating authority. Im sure the guy who owns Hershey surely knows how to make a candy bar, doesnt mean he sits in the factory and makes it himself.

seriously this thread confirms that this place has turned to total shit, I been doing this a long time I had a guy do PPC for me 2 years ago solid as can be he got married and turned to junk, I got a few ICQ's too one guy is doing it full time for a company here and is looking for change. Financial consultants who make people millions but they themselves just cant do much for themselves, this is in every industry.

Again im talking to broke ass babies here and its pathetic.

So guys keep on ICQ'ing me, those who are real make serious money with me year after year, the rest here can continue crying and wanking off to tubes.

I think what you are missing here is that there are a lot of people that probably know ppc, but the guys that are are experts at ppc and making a lot of money doing ppc arent really willing to share unless its really worth their while..

when your spending $10,000 plus a month on ppc, the difference between paying 25 cents a click versus 50 cents a click makes a huge difference.

the same goes for finding those keywords that are $2.00 a click but generate $4.00 a click.

the ppc game has become so competitive that finding that golden keyword or keywords could translate into 5 figures of profit, but could be killed profitability wise overnight when multiple competitors jump on the bandwagon has led most ppc experts to keep their knowledge a lot closer to the cuff these days...

well, why are there capable companies who manage other people's PPC campaigns?
why isn't someone flying their own banners and affiliate programs but sell their ad space.

Plenty of people who know their shit make more money managing someone else's campaigns.

Some pluses that come to mind:
you get % of client's ad spend right off the top. And probably % of sales generated
and get to play with a much bigger budget than your own
and of course (hopefully) access to much better tracking and the ability to see what sells and what doesn't down to the keyword, if the advertiser wants a ROI-centric campaign.

In affiliate marketing you don't always get to deep track and mostly shoot blanks to see what sticks. Not to mention your margins are much lower as a reseller than a product owner.

Of course if someone knew what they were doing with PPC AND had the budget power AND had special relationships with merchants which allowed them to get above the default pay rate, yes probably would never toy with other people's campaigns. But not everyone does that

i'll throw you a bone here...

"san diego girls" a keyword i would go after for escorts based on the ppc and the competition.

running it and looking at stats tied to that keyword would tell you if its gold or not..

and thats just an obvious keyword.. the real money and magic is finding the keywords that arent that obvious...
