Who uses NATS 4.0?

Since going live with NATS 4.0 we've made 0 sales.. yep, 0.

Now, we're not a huge money making site by any means but we were averaging 5-10 new sales per day before going live with NATS, and now nothing...

The only thing that has changed on our site is the actual join page. Before it was a simple 3 button zombaio form, and was working...

With NATS 4.0 it appears we have to use a pre-join form, which is what I'm guessing is keeping customers from joining our site since this is the only thing that has changed on the actual site since going live...

Here is our new join page that's made 0 sales:
http://join.trikepatrol.com/signup/signup.php

Here's our old join page that was working fine:
http://www.trikepatrol.com/tour/join.html

Now, I know they are basic, which is fine since we're overhauling the site anyway, and the second join page DOES get sales, so that's not the problem.

I am guessing that customers do not like the pre-join forms (maybe they're worried about spam?), but the problem we face is this... affiliate sales are not tracked through NATS if we use the old join form.. even if we use it in the NATS template. I tried a test sale using my NATS code and while the sale was tracked in NATS, the affiliate credit was not.

So my question is... what can we do? I've submitted a ticket with NATS, but their response time is kind of slow so if I can find a solution here first, all the better.

Thanks in advance.

I'd at least customize that join page before blaming NATS. Just a form on a blank page is ridiculous.

The "empty" join page has worked fine for 4 years now.. We used the same style form with ccbill, when we pushed some sales through zombaio, we used the same, and now live with NATS we're using the same... It's not that.

If you say so

I noticed your NATS isn't setup properly either, you have to add a payment type to the site (check Site Admin). People can't sign up now even if they wanted to.

Payment type is setup (credit card) and is pre-selected. The first link posted above reflects this, in firefox anyway. And I'm able to submit test signups properly (using Z's test card). What browser are you using?

Both IE and Firefox (latest version).

Error says "You must choose a payment method.". If you want a few minutes of free assistance, hit me up on ICQ.

Nope, I see a default NATS join page, all white.

My offer still stands. Going back to work now so I won't be checking GFY for a while.

Hey,

Your ticket was put in less than an hour ago on a Sunday evening. Someone will be attending to it first thing in the morning when our tech support staff is in.

If you were doing 5-10 joins per day and now have 0, then something is certainly setup or being used wrong. You certainly should not be using that plain white box as your join form. Usually the only way we'll see that is if something isn't setup properly. Possibly some other things aren't quite right either.

We'll be happy to help you find what is wrong and fix it.

You can also contact me tomorrow morning:
732-385-1536 x1111
albright/toomuchmedia/com
aim: JohnA1078 icq: 5596373
And i'll make sure someone is on it immediately.

Thanks,
John

Didn't get any messages, ICQ must've blocked it. Try adding me and then sending a simple message first (without URL's etc).

I'm seeing the problem now.. that plain white page shouldn't be what's showing And it's only showing that way for me in IE8 and chrome (windows side), firefox is working properly.. at least on my end, in both windoze and linux.

Regarding my comment about slow response, I didn't mean anything by it and sometimes forget to take into account time zone differences (for me it's almost noon monday).. just frustrated atm

No worries. On weekdays we'd have staff at this time. We only run one shift each day on the weekends tho and that person is gone for the day.

However, I got Boris for you. He should be IM'ing or calling you in a few moments to get this fixed for you.

Seeing the blank white join page right now.

You definetly have some problems going on but im confident NATS will help you out.

This is oviously your problem. I use NATS 4 with no problems at all.

edit* Also I went to your tour and the join link 404's. They cant even get to your join page bro. (from that link anyway)

Might have been when I was working with the Boris from nats.. I had to change my links around.. We're getting the issue resolved now. Still having the problem with IE and Chrome, FF works fine though

Getting there though so that's all that matters

Btw, when trying to join I get:

Invalid input parameters.
Please contact the webmaster!

Click here to go back to site

You must have setup something wrong, before going live with this you should check all your settings and do some real test signups.

maybe you should pull your affiliate page down http://www.trikepatrol.com/affiliates/ already
you don't credit webmasters for sales anymore and there was no notification about migrating to nats. but you must do it even before with zombaio billing instead of ccbill

it's not good to do such things

Umm, We send out NUMEROUS emails.. dating back to almost 2 months ago when we first started migrating into NATS. We even told our affiliates shit they didn't really need to know, just to make the transistion as transparent and forthknowing as humanly possible. We also sent out mass emails every step of the way, once again to ensure our affiliates knew what was coming...

ANd umm again, we ARE crediting pre-existing affiliates, their sales, and ALL of their CCBILL links/codes through NATS.

Lastly, the /affiliates/ section needs to remain in place for the existing links/hosted galleries... the relevant pages already redirect to the new nats program...

So I must ask, are you talking shit just to talk shit and try to give us a bad name, or what?

Apologies if my harshness isn't warranted... It's been a long, long day so far and I'm a little on edge... And we haven't screwed anyone over in 4 years of being online so the above pushes some buttons that tend to not like being pushed; especially when our switching to NATS was to IMPROVE things for affiliates, NOT screw them...

what the fuck are you talking about?

that's your link
http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clic...000&PA=1967200

it switches to nats tour with zomabaio join form only.

so what's the way ccbill affiliates are credited for their joins?

SIGH...

ALL of the pre-existing ccbill traffic is being converted into NATS and tracked through NATS. ALL pre-existing affiliates have been added to our NATS system and their links are tracking properly. What exactly are you going on about? We've been very transparent on here, foogie, and via email for the last 2 months since we've started this journey...

sorry about that. you are right

in most cases programs migrating to nats remain existing ccbill links with ccbill tours.

We were originally going to do that but 90% of our affiliates who even bothered to reply to the numerous emails have said they'd rather be imported into NATS...

There are no longer ccbill tours, or zombaio tours (in which there were never zombaio tours).. but no matter which billers we use now and in the future, there will only be one tour, which will go through nats. ALL affiliate traffic, new and old, will be tracked through nats.

yeah, sorry
i checked your site and found ccbill affiliate page only (which is switched to your nats program by now), so that was a point where misunderstanding happened

good luck with resolving your nats/joins issue
btw what was the reason of migrating to nats?
