interesting, hard to believe that pork rinds are actually healthy, last time I tried them they tasted so greasy you could almost feel the arteries clogging up as you eat them..

One of the best beef jerky I've ever had is JuJu Jerky...without sodium nitrate, with only natural flavorings, and with something like only 170 mg of sodium per gram, a bunch lower than other ones I've had, and it's fucking delicious. My ex kept trying to tell me ALL beef jerky is bad for you, but there ARE good ones out there like that. It's mainly the sodium overkill with it that would be bad for people.

Yeah some natives I know make "dry meat". Totally healthy, high protein, no additives.

I don't eat beef, but reading this made me really crave some jerky.

They don't taste "fake meatish" do they? That's what gets me about those kind of products. I forget which brand but I remember getting meatless burger patties before and compared to a burger they were just god awful.
