You honestly belive 1 link to RK sent 463 hits and 8 sales from that blog ?

That would mean the blog gets 0000's of hits a day and you probally get daily sales from it.

I dont see a problem. That blog is mainly pushing your site. Just a few small links to other sites....and I highly doubt those ND sales cam from that blog.

Last time I checked that was called a "traffic leak". It honestly don't get the double standard. Affiliates freak out and programs get slammed if tours have a single link to another sponsor or an alternate billing processor, etc. However it's perfectly ok for an affiliate to use a sponsors branded name for their domain and the sponsors content to send traffic from that site (the sponsors branded domain and the sponsors content) to an unrelated sponsor. The mentality of some people in this industry never ceases to amaze me.

sorry i have to say that i dont see a problem with the scenario you posted. You always have a choice to discontinue the affiliate if you have a problem with it. Plain fact is you and the affiliate are in it to make money, if you don't feel it makes you more money or morally object to something , don't allow it, otherwise its a rather moot point.

example
i am affiliate , i make 10 "tribute" blogs etc like one posted make x sales per day make $x per day total all ads are for sponsor

i then add some other sponsor ads and make $x + extra , i can now afford to buy extra traffic, promote my sites, thus increasing my sales to you.

Smokey there are a couple of issues here.

1. I don't have a problem with an affiliate picking up some extra cash and having links to other sponsors in association with our content, it's pretty much industry standard anyway. However when priority placement is given to those other sponsors on a page that features our content and is on a domain using our branded name that's where I have a problem. The first thing a surfer sees when they hit http://www.naughtyjulieblog.com/ is three prominent links to another sponsor at the very top of the page.

2. Take "naughtyjulie" out of the domain name, remove any text on the page that reference "naughtyJulie", and remove her content from the page and this affililate has no traffic coming to this page, period. Thus no ability to siphon traffic off to another sponsor.

3. Back to the double standard I mentioned earlier. It's ok for the affiliate to pick up some extra cash by adding links to other sponsors on a page that only has traffic because of my content and my branding efforts, right? I'd like to pick up some extra cash too, I can't imagine how much revenue we could add annually if I were to use a couple of sponsor links on our tours but that's not acceptable now is it? "What's good for the goose is good for the gander!" No?

Again we're not talking about a generic blog here, we're talking about a blog that only has traffic because our our content and our branding efforts, period!

Aside from making a split second decision on where to host the screenshot (which obviously backfired) I feel as though I've done nothing wrong. I'd estimate that 95% of the clicks the Naughty Julie site generates are sent to her site...

That site has been on the front page of Google for years for all Naughty Julie keywords and phrases and only generates a handful of signups a year. I can almost certainly assure you it hasn't generated any Nasty Dollars sales.

Yes the site has 3 header links (that I change every once and a while), a cam section in the sidebar and small dating ad on the single posts. Other than that the complete blog is dedicated to promoting Naughty Julie and sometimes Allie. If you have a serious problem and plan on dropping me from your program I understand.

Lastly I have been nothing but a good affiliate, hell I've even contacted you numerous times concerning full scene Naughty Allie and Julie videos all over the tubes. Sent you urls, information, etc. I've emailed you and tried to contact you today via icq to no avail.

Please contact me...and check the links below before you continue to bash me please.

Issue resolved and for the record SAC has always been an honest/reliable NaughtyBank affiliate. I think this situation reflects a bigger picture issue that is still being sorted out industry-wide.
