Well, I'm not a mind-reader or possess any magic and don't use ICQ and really don't have discussions about the topics we discuss here with anyone, and I work alone and only have two dogs for company, and so I gain information (here) about a person's thought patterns by engaging in as much dialog as I can before (or if) they descend into insults. Damn, got a family member on his 2nd tour over there with the Aussie forces, and he said the Americans are having a real hard time. I don't see how changing the General who obviously knows what is happening on the ground will help. If the General is speaking the truth then suck it up and deal with it.. if he is telling porkies then sure bring him home and fire him.
