The Bank that issues the cards (The St Kitts bank) was possibly running afoul of AML (anti money laundering laws). VISA probably notified them of this and VISA and the issuing bank (St Kitts) decided to suspend access to the funds until it could be proven who the cardholders were.

If it is shut down because of AML laws and investigations into Money Laundering, everyone is forbidden to give any information regarding that per law in the USA. Any violation is punishable by huge fines and jail time. This could be even if E-pass is not directly involved with the people or organizations doing the money laundering and only the conduit.

ALL prepaid rechargeable cards are going top eventually have this same problem because of AML laws.

Yes it has many caused many problems to people BUT we are not positive where the blame should be placed.

They telling you what they can. I'm sure they understand well that their customers are worried and this entire situation ruins their credibility day after day more and more.
