Factoring is actually better described as selling of ASSETS that are less liquid (ie due in 90 days) for immediate cash or liquidity.

It does NOT mean a company does not have assets, just that current cash is needed instead of receivables etc.

Good research on behalf of your friend

I think there is more going on than they are letting loose with and I am sure if a class action lawsuit was brought against them, the details would have to be released and we would all see what these people are really up to.

On a positive note, I truly hope you guys get your money....nothing like being ripped and lied to by the same people you thought you could trust
