Now i don?t believe anyone really knows what happened in this story yet, So far its all speculation as to what the details are.
So until we know for sure why even bother speculating as it really does not change the situation or matter in any way.

Ok, Epassporte is done as a company, but they are for now staying in business to sort out the rest of the funds ?Lets assume that is correct until proven wrong?.
So far they have been good under the circumstances to get people their money, if you don?t think so then you should have a chat with the people in this industry that has been through this on 3 other occasions and lost a LOT more with ZERO ability to even contact the money operation.

As for ST K in Belize
Again, IF they get the cards activated this or next week, which i am almost positive that they will.
They have no reason not to as the amount they

have from Epass is nothing at all compared to what other Adult companies have with them.

Where does that leave Chris Mallic?s Rep?
If the above is the outcome ill have to say that i will bank with Chris any damn time as honestly the above would be almost unheard off in our industry.

I think so. He took a big chance making a movie glorifying his life, at a time where his practices are still considered quasi-legal at best. As far as I know he hasn't reached any settlement to date with the DOJ regarding his US facing poker processing? Middle Men was a slap in the face to alot of decision makers. So to answer your question, yes, I believe he deserves everything that he's getting right now.

he still has yet to answer the simple question of "what exactly happened"?..

For almost a month I remained "carefully optimistic", never attacked epass on the boards (mostly out of respect for the way Michael O and I had done business in the past).

But now.... well, closing down is one thing, abandoning things and at the same time bragging on facebook about taking a holiday in Cabo (while he was supposedly working on fixing things and giving the most for his clients) that's something totally different...

All that stress and worry has no where else to go except back at him. While the events that triggered this may not have been his fault, the backlash is completely his... The fact is, his lack of communications displays a disdain for all his customers... What happened when the auto CEOs showed up in their jets? What happened to the BP CEO when he made stupid comments and was off having some fun during the spill? The lessons are there but apparently if you hav a big ego, you don't see or learn them.

Yes and then some. He knew the problems with lack of verification, which problems lie at the core of the ePass debacle and did nothing to abate them. He was playing fast and loose with US law, knowing full well of the then current verification requirements as well as the August 22 changes to both credit card and ATM rules. He did nothing to help or require ePass users to comply with USA laws and because both ePass and the SK bank were doing biz in the USA, both were subject to those laws, regardless of what many might think. In fact, Mallick subtly encourged many to join ePass by giving compliance a nod and a wink; more or less one of those "Nudge!, Nudge!, Know what I mean?, Know what I mean?" things.

I am quite certain that the SK bank found itself in violation of USA reporting requirements so because of the US so-called "long arm" statutes, therefore chose to ask VISA to punch ePass's ticket. Remember the two guys who headed up Netteller were prosecuted under those same "long arm" statutes a while back! They eventually let them go but all USA Netteller account holders, including Yours Truly, had their Nettelller accounts closed but we all got our money back in a timely manner.

This was a train wreck which could have been avoided had ePass management been proactive and demonstrated responsiblity and proper customer care in the first place.

Being a businessman I assume that when you do work for someone, or provide a service you expect to be paid. If someone did not pay you, refused to tell you why, refused to talk to you and give you any information and you waited days, then weeks and you still don't have your money. If you then got your money would it be ok?

As I have said before. Bad shit happens and the measure of a man is how deep in his own shit he will wade to rescue those he dropped into his shit storm.

A stand up guy would have been on these boards giving us honest updates. Chris didn't and went to Cabo instead. He left behind some people that found it hard to eat, and in one case, Chris' actions put a guy over the edge and he killed himself.

Imagine that, a guy KILLED himself and epassporte was part of the reason why. Yet you ask if Chris deserves what he is getting if we all get our money.'
The answer is YES YES YES.....because at least one person won't be getting his money...and that is the guy who killed himself and left his family behind to mourn their loss.

It is the way he handles it that stinks. He has no character and now no creditability.

Yes and then some. He knew the problems with lack of verification, which problems lie at the core of the ePass debacle and did nothing to abate them. He was playing fast and loose with US law, knowing full well of the then current verification requirements as well as the August 22 changes to both credit card and ATM rules. He did nothing to help or require ePass users to comply with USA laws and because both ePass and the SK bank were doing biz in the USA, both were subject to those laws, regardless of what many might think. In fact, Mallick subtly encourged many to join ePass by giving compliance a nod and a wink; more or less one of those "Nudge!, Nudge!, Know what I mean?, Know what I mean?" things. I am quite certain that the SK bank found itself in violation of USA reporting requirements so because of the US so-called "long arm" statutes, therefore chose to ask VISA to punch ePass's ticket. Remember the two guys who headed up Netteller were prosecuted under those same "long arm" statutes a while back! They eventually let them go but all USA Netteller account holders, including Yours Truly, had their Nettelller accounts closed but we all got our money back in a timely manner. This was a train wreck which could have been avoided had ePass management been proactive and demonstrated responsiblity and proper customer care in the first place. If someone did not pay you, refused to tell you why, refused to talk to you and give you any information and you waited days, then weeks and you still don't have your money. If you then got your money would it be ok? If someone asked you what kind of man he was would you say "Stand up guy, always pays his bills on time and is great at communication?" As I have said before. Bad shit happens and the measure of a man is how deep in his own shit he will wade to rescue those he dropped into his shit storm. A stand up guy would have been on these boards giving us honest updates. Chris didn't and went to Cabo instead. He left behind some people that found it hard to eat, and in one case, Chris' actions put a guy over the edge and he killed himself. Imagine that, a guy KILLED himself and epassporte was part of the reason why. Yet you ask if Chris deserves what he is getting if we all get our money.' The answer is YES YES YES.....because at least one person won't be getting his money...and that is the guy who killed himself and left his family behind to mourn their loss. If he had followed that up with honoring wire requests ... If he hadn't been in Cabo when he said he was working on the issue ... Then no. It is the way he handles it that stinks. He has no character and now no creditability. I'd bet that even many of his harshest critics (me included) would not have been as vocal had he handled the situation professionally.
