Just a heads up to friends and gfy'ers who use clips4sale....

Checked my clips4sale store today to make sure my clip store updated properly. What I noticed was that my top 5 selling clips were from the same series...ss#62

Well interestingly enough, about 2 hours later I checked my clip store again, and noticed that the top 5 selling clips order had changed and now there was a clip from a different series (ss#63) that was in the top 5.

Nothing to worry about right, only problem is there have been no clip sales at all today. So what would cause the change in the top 5 selling clips today, if there were no clips sold today?

Yep that's exactly what I thought...strange lets put a call in to find out what would cause a change in top 5 selling clip order with out any sales showing up in admin.

Well the information has been submitted via telephone to clips4sale rep, and they are passing it on to tech department for an answer.

When they get back to me I will update you guys, but wanted to give you the heads up and have you guys maybe double check your stores as well.

For now they have the benefit of the doubt, and I will wait and see what kind of "bug or glitch" alters top selling clips order when there is no sale.

At least we both agreed that that is something that should "NOT" be happening.

WTF?????? My clip store top 5 selling clip order has changed three times today and there are zero sales in my admin for today!!!!

Still have not heard back from clips4sale either, very weird.

The order has now been manually changed back to the order it was when I first saw it today, but since had changed two times....

any ideas,comments,explanations,magic tricks,chicanery...somebody say something

I would have expected it to be some type of caching issue with the way the top lists are periodically built. Potentially, a clip could have been refunded which has caused the temporary switch. That said, I would be very shocked if they had "manually" switched your top list.

Ok Mcfadden thanks for the insight but if you are correct, wouldn't it make more sense to title the section as Top 5 "Randomly selected clips" and not top 5 best selling clips.

Am I overlooking something because on the clip store page it says Top 5 selling clips, then lists the top 5 in said order right?

So what would cause clips to disappear and or reappear from the list today if there are no clip sales today?

Thanks for your suggestions on what I should do with my site. Much appreciated its on my to do list amongst other things but for now I would prefer to stay focused on the thread if you don't mind. Now could you give me a suggestion or two about what would cause the top 5 best selling clips order to change multiple times today without any clip sales today.

For and on the record they did agree that that should not be happening. I would agree as well.

To be honest why are you waisting your time with clips4sale.

Your site could do well. I mean very very well.

I know a few girls who run such sites and make huge cash.

To be blunt, who gives a sh*t about the clips for sale thing, when you could be earning huge cash with your site.

I am very fortunate to still be in this business with a site like mine. I have seen rival competitors with very similar content have to close down their sites,or talk of closing down their sites this year.

So personally as long as I am still retaining and converting members I am grateful.

There was a time that the work placed into this business was enjoyable as well as rewarding. I mean if positive feedback was measured in US currency my family would all be millionaires by now.

The problem is great feedback and fan support does not always translate into financial wealth and security... especially when this business is littered with crooked,greedy, white collar thieves who suffer no shortage of creative ways to leech,steal, and profit from your own adult based work.

I am always interested in constructive criticism from my peers who have different perspectives along with great advice to offer. Would to hear more of your perspective

C4S is notorious for weird stats and odd things happening. For instance, I noticed that some of my stores would not appear on the Updated Stores section when they were scheduled to, and the wrong category listing for a clip, etc etc.

Clips4Sale is great for secondary income these days. Their traffic is way down, too. Still, it all adds up, eh?

I suspect your doing what your doing as you get the odd sale and you feel safe.

You need to break out from your safe zone. Get that site (paysite) re-done. That includes the affiliate part too.

Your site should pull in lots and lots of sales.

You have said that you did not get a sale on clips4sale, so why waist your time.

Deal with somthing that could be big, and thats your site.

Somethings got to give, I am running out of patience and trust with current options. Why should my clip store still experience 4-5 changes in the display of the top selling clips within the past 24 hours and not one clip has sold.... AT LEAST ACCORDING TO MY ADMIN!!!!!!

Common sense and everything else says the only time your top selling clip order changes is when new clip sales demand that it changes!

I think I will start preparing myself for their update if and when they get back to me.... oh its a bug, its a glitch.

The timing is so suspect with many people seemingly in survival mode, all of a sudden we get glitches and bugs and fudgey stats.

I mean are any others getting a feeling in their gut that some of these processors are on the take?

Still waiting for an answer, this is my final plea from my gfy extended family with all of the brilliance and intelligence amongst us, please explain why there is continuous rotation in top selling clip order after updating store twice a day for the few days, but yet there are ZERO clip sales reflecting in admin.

I know its small potatoes to many but could someone satisfy my curiosity and signify that that could be a sign of something sinister?

I mean is it perfectly normal and reasonable to have top selling clip order shuffling around with no sales?

Or shall I cut right to it and ask is there a chance that the clips have been sold which would in fact change the order, but there is some glitch or delay that would prevent the sales from showing up in admin.

Just saying...is there any integrity left in the biz?

one thing I know is that they agree with me that it should not be happening, but yet there is no definitive explanation, nor are there answers to many other questions being asked by other clip store owners.

Just so frustrating, to see the deterioration in integrity and security involving processors of late.

Maybe I am on the wrong side of the ball, and need to close shop and invest in starting a leeching company...oops I mean processing company

Hey there SwirlsGirl - I am not sure whom you spoke to at support @ Clips BUT if you could please contact me directly at jo @ clips4sale.com I personally will follow up on your concern until it is resolved.

I am not 100% certain as to why this is occurring BUT I think it is related to random data being pulled. All because there has been no sales does not mean that there are not top selling clips in the history.

Sorry for the issues you are encountering but I assure you that they will be tended too.
Please include your store numbers in the email.

3 days later and multiple board posts there is no reasonable explanation from clips4sale or other store owners that would explain how one's top selling clip order would rotate and change more than 5 times, without 1 clips being sold.

It is a straight forward reasonable question. Your telephone support agreed it should not be happening. Common sense says it should not be happening.

It is cut and dry, the top selling clip order has changed numerous times without any clips being sold.

Nobody wants to be accused of fraud or chicanery but nobody seems to want to give you a reasonable and logical explanation as to why things happen that should not be happening.

Its logical to me that clips should be selling, just updated the store with new unreleased content, "top selling clip order" is changing to indicate sales coming in, however no sales are being credited in my admin, and still no reasonable explanation... a bunch of PR,

Its not rocket science if a company is struggling what would stop them from implementing skim tactics to increase their revenue?

When your content is being billed by someone else and you have no ability to verify transactions, you are at their mercy, and can be told just about anything.

I respectfully assert that many companies that we do business with are in worse shape than they will admit, because at the end of the day they need our confidence in them to remain high, so that they remain in business.

So what we have is constant stats anomalies that make no sense, public relations explanations that defy reason and insult intelligence, and multiple posts from multiple webmasters about the same exact concerns.

And I am well within my right to exercise free speech here. You guys have had 3 days and instead of anything being done, you are now asking for information again about this, when it was already given.

More PR tactics, delay, delay,confuse, maybe it will go away. Same thing happens with ccbill, you report something on the phone, then come to the boards, and have a PR person come in and ask for your info again.

I will say it again, in 6 years of using clips4sale, I have never seen top selling clip order change without any sales coming in.

Clips4sale agreed it should not happen, and was given information. Its been 3 days, I would think that is a serious issue, and it has yet to be addressed.

Its never happened, and I do not believe some random glitch would cause direct and noticeable changes in a specific store's top selling clip order more than 5 times in one day without any clips being sold.

It is what it is, you won't address or explain it, so the phenomenon will have to explain itself, I hope this is a lesson and people can see what this industry is becoming.

I'm a programmer for Clips4Sale and would like to help you out. If you can send me your store number, I can look into it. Just send it to jo @ clips4sale.com and she'll give me your store number.

It can be several reason. One could be that you have sales that are the same. If one clip sold 4 times and another clip sold 4 times, they will switch around. It could also be that a server has a old cached copy of your store and just needs to be cleared out from our server. I can't find out what it is without a store number though.

If you need better clarification on what I do for www.Clips4Sale.com then I need more time to explain than what I currently have available. LOL

C4S is signed on to use KiwiSourcing services exclusively.
I personally deal with multiple things related to C4S as I am their consultant which includes me being able to handle things out side of the box if needed hence the vague explanation of what I do for them.

No C4S staff spends time surfing B2B boards. There for none of the complaints ever posted on the likes of GFY are going to be answered unless I manage to stumble upon them (or have ppl submit the threads to me) but I don't even have time to be surfing boards now days. Clips4Sale.com is one of the many companies that I work with and I personally work anywhere between 65-80 hours a week.

There is support staff available via email, phone and live chat that can be contacted 7 days a week from 8am - 8pm EST. All studio owners have access to the 3 means of communication.

I have offered my hand for assistance numerous times to multiple people who still insist wasting time posting on boards rather than emailing me the concerns to see if I can help.

And with that said, those of you who need help.....email me.....those of you who would prefer to dwell then I am sincerely sorry but I can't not assist you if you are unable to help yourself.

I have not had a clips4sale sales receipt email in over a year, and I have had sales every month this year, and last.

I have changed emails several times over the years and the sales emails would come in here and there but I have not seen one in over a year.

I did not have trouble reaching telephone support, so I won't need to contact you about having trouble reaching them.

I called friday afternoon, about a troubling observation with my clip store, and spoke with a live rep, who agreed that my concern was valid, and it should not be happening.

He took my store info, name telephone number then assured me someone would respond within 24 hours.

Well 72 hours later, no official response from clips4sale, but a seemingly pr response from someone who does not work "exclusively" for clips4sale suggesting that it is inappropiate to come to gfy with concerns and questions about clips4sale.

Then you kind of insulted the integrity of gfy'ers by suggesting anyone coming here is someone who just wants to bitch and be a cunt? What gives?

I would rather you respond directly to my issue of what would make top selling clips order change more than 5 times in a 48 hour period when there are no clips being sold.

Again my information was submitted on friday and clips4sale has produced no response to support ticket, but they send someone in to respond to the thread? Especially weird because person also stated they don't have time to read boards...LOL
