Fucking Girls
I have been looking at a lot of pics on gfy lately. It seems that girls fucking is getting pretty pedestrian. It was a real kick at one time because not every girl was "doing it" so brazenly. Now its easy to get even the most innocent girls to fuck on the internet. Toss in some backlight, make up and they are pornstars. Some of them are doing it for fun not profit. A lot of the magic and mystery is gone. So is the value. Anyone think that this plays a big part in this porn recession? The value of sex has dropped like the overall industry profits.

Thats why amateur is so popular you can see girls next door or exgirlfriends or the girl at Starbucks getting fucked.

It's cause staged sex has become played out. Amateur is an attraction not because of the sex, but rather cause of the interaction. Nowadays sex is sex. I can pay almost any girl on the street to fuck on film, it's just a matter of how much. But you can't get every girl off the street to enjoy what they do and have fun. Once you mix the fun, interaction and sex together you have a draw that will never die. That's also why Amateur sites retain so well. IMHO.
As you probably know Niche is a completely different animal. Niche if shot properly will never die since the girl is irrelevant to a certain degree. |

I think this has as much influence as tube sites. Perceived value is killing porn at the moment.

You're also talking about an industry where most affiliate programs and a ton of affiliates firmly believe that content has nothing to do with making money. These are the same idiots that refuse to put money into buying content from shooters like myself. They flat-out refuse to do something unique. They want the same fucking content everyone else already has. Silvercash told me "that's not our business model." EpicCash told me the same thing. I've heard the same story from dozens of programs that I've approached directly.
So if converting initial joins and having sites that retain isn't the business model, then what the hell IS your business model? Cross-sales, up-sells, and banner farms in the members area? You think that's a lasting business model? Just watch them get steam rolled. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when... Trying to sell content to these guys is like banging your head against a brick wall. They just simply do not understand what they're missing. "Knock Knock" Silvercash: Who's there? Content: It's content. I'd like to give you money. Silvercash: We don't need any more money. We've already got enough. Content: Really? Are you serious? Silvercash: Absolutely serious. We have way too much. Go away. Really makes me wonder. |

It goes back to the old argument. Is traffic or content king. I have always said, no content no traffic. I suppose the reverse is true. But if the shit hits the fan, I would rather have good content. But I do both, specializing in content. Like I shoot all my own content, then sell it to customers.

Are you and I the only ones who see this? Webmasters see themselves as masters of marketing, selling the sizzle of the steak on the grill, not the steak itself. They delight in serving up cheap porn for premium rates. The music industry did this, selling one good song on an album for years, and years and years. Now the tables are turned. But I read music is selling better than ever, one song at a time at 99 cents, even though it's all available all over the Internet for free. Porn needs to learn the same lesson; quality content, quality service, reasonable fees, no cross sells and other flaky scams will get you loyal members, but you have to be loyal to them. Maybe we should change "member" to customer. Treat them they way you want to be treated, give them a good experience.

Traffic doesn't exist for the sake of existing. When you're standing at the magazine rack at Safeway, you're there because of the interesting articles and pretty faces on the covers. Despite the fact that Safeway has the magazine rack to make more sales, you're standing at the magazine rack because of the content contained within. You make a decision to buy based on that content. The reason the Fry's magazine rack always has more people standing in front of it is because Fry's has 10x as many magazines as Safeway. This is because 10x as many magazines is 10x as compelling as the Safeway magazine rack. Even if Safeway had huge signage with glowing neon lights that summoned everyone to go there, they still would not make as many sales as the Fry's magazine section... do you know why? It's because Fry's has a more compelling offer. It has nothing to do with Fry's having more traffic than Safeway. This is what these companies fail to understand. This is what most affiliates fail to understand. |

Traffic is a huge amorphous blob and is of very little use. Its like a traffic jam on an LA freeway. Sure, I suppose a well placed billboard will do well, but it is selling a product to that traffic jam. It seems like ninety percent of the high profile billboards in the high traffic commuter freeway world are for guess what??? Cars.
That turns the jam into focussed traffic which is the secret to good sales. Personally, I don't like high volume traffic, but prefer guys who can send low volume interested potential customers. Those that do seem to sell. They know the market and understand the value of content. A happy marriage of content and interested traffic is what makes for good business for everyone involved. Just tossing junk traffic around is a total waste of bandwidth. |

You get out of it what you put into it. It was Larry Flynt who said basically that at times like these, people who produce quality products will thrive. And they are.

The original post, however was about the lower value of sex. It will never be worth what it was a few years ago. We have devalued it by making it so similar and available.

If there was no content, what exactly would your traffic buy? Consider another thread here today. Something about how well one image can sell a site. I am sure you read that. Did you disagree?

![]() People thought that Theater and TV would be dead when YouTube and other such video sites came on-line. What happened is that the amateur content only drove the masses to the more professional content. So, the average girl fucking may be pedestrian, but the hot pornstar fucking is still amazing. |

I'm far more into 'exgf / girl nextdoor' shit now, glamour porn for me makes me limp - amateur is in, most stuff now is deliberately made to look like it.

BACK TO TRAFFIC OR CONTENT: It is easier to keep a customer than to get a new one, so keeping your members with good new content should be a better plan than getting new members to look at old content. |

Keep shooting a new girl and you will do fine. As soon as a girl hits the LA porn scene it is over. Gonzo is the thing of the past.
Brand new girls next door sell extremely well. |

Yes they do. However, I have been shooting the same girls for ten years and they do better than the girl next door. Why? Because I sell fetish. And that is where the money is today. Girls are a dime a dozen. Pushing buttons takes skill and it makes money.

I porduce high quality content but have to say that even that without the proper connection is worthless.
Could compare that to what you say about traffic. Quality in itself is still nothing. Maybe I will have to make an own website and try to sell myself to see how that works ![]() |

the internet has changed how the average guy sees women and sex forever. 20 years ago, playboy was the standard. now playboy is boring as fuck, disney-like almost. we've all been conditioned to seeing every sex-act imaginable online and there is no going back now.

I've watched and reviewed so much porn that I dare say that I can watch a few minutes of a scene and be able to tell whether the rest is worth watching. Some actresses indeed can put on a show as if they are really enjoying themselves, but the reality is that it often is not enough to take their scenes to the next level. A performer that truly enjoys what she is doing will have a greater tendency of having fucking scenes that are fucking awesome. Lily Thai, Sasha Grey and Cytheria (before the pregnancy) instantly come to mind. There are many others out there who are doing a great job, but putting any woman in front of a camera and expecting her to be sexy while getting fucked is not a good long term strategy.
