A fellow service member of mine did exactly as I said earlier to our CO. The Major went missing for 2 weeks, came back for a month and then was transfered. It was NOT coincidental. I actually felt bad for my CO (even though he was a prick) because the guy who did it got busted on a urinalysis test. All the CO did was sign the paperwork to get him discharged, which was his job.

Anyhow, my point is, ANYone could have charged to Lisa's room. Especially if they wanted to discredit her. Also, I've worked at a few hotels. The front desk people aren't paid much, they make a lot of mistakes and sometimes they just charge shit to a room...any room...because it's easier than doing it correctly.

So who stole the wallet? Who charged the room? As I see it so far, nobody knows for sure. Until then, innocent until proven guilty. :2 cents:

I usually find peoples' ignorance to be entertaining on here, but when that ignorance can effect someone's reputation, it becomes kinda sad..

Um I was called on the phone being asked for money. I have nothing to hide hence why I am on a public forum.

Which makes it even more possible that it was a hotel employee wanting to keep a room open for his buddies, or some new found gal pals to party..

If they both stayed at the Hard Rock..

The employee finds a card with a fair amount of room expenses on it, so one more entry wouldn't be as easy to notice.. Grab a room that someone just checked out of and charge another day to the busy account..

I have a feeling some of these hotel employees have stuff like this down to a science.. and it probably happens alot..

It's just that this time it got noticed because of the missing wallet, which I don't think had anything to do with the fact that a room was charged to the card..

Lisa denies any involvement. She also denies that her husband and friend were involved. Soooooo.........

Lisa, should the evidence prove otherwise, will you agree to:

1. turn yourself in to Las Vegas authorities
2. reimburse Caza for all expenses incurred including airfare for his friend to bring him money, etc.
3. issue a full admission and public apology on GFY and pay whatever it costs to have the apology stickied for one week


The thread title alone makes it obvious what the intent here was. Mike/Caza thought that Lisa was responsible, so in an effort to get some payback, they figured they would fuck with her chances of winning the booble contest. Sooooooooo......

Mike/Caza, should the evidence prove otherwise, will you agree to:

1. immediately send a money order in the amount of $5000 to Lisa
2. Post a public apology on GFY and pay for it to be stickied for one week

Someones lawyer would probably have to get a judge to ask for the security tapes, as I dont think just going there and asking is going to do anything. They will protect themselves before helping others. Thats the way of it these days.

I ALWAYS use express checkout when it is available and check my bill when it comes in the mail.

If you read I believe you will find that she used the express checkout. The card you have on file when you checked in would be the one charged.

For what it's worth, last time I paid for a hotel room, I just gave them a room number and did not have to verify the name on the room. I'm not sure if that was a special case and they were supposed to, but I just told them it was room xxxx and I'd like to pay cash, and they said sure, it is $xxx thank you have a nice day.

The only conclusion I've been able to draw from this thread is that Smashbucks and Mike Hawk look really bad. :2 cents:

Just an FYI - several years ago Shok and I checked into separate rooms at the same time in Vegas. They put both our rooms on HIS card. His wife was not amused when she got a call about the high usage on his card (mebbe if he didn't have so many Spectravision porn movies.....). Anyhoo, total mistake by the front desk.

2 weeks ago I upgraded to a suite. I was staying 3 nights and they charged me 9 NIGHTS of upgrades. :helpme

I would estimate that at least 50% of the time charges are wrong on my hotel bills. Most of the show attendees aren't paying for their bill so they probably don't even look. When you have a hotel filled with people you know, the chances of a mistake reflecting on someone ELSE you know's room bill is going to be high.

BTW, for the legal geniuses here:

Anyone v. Hard Rock: Not going to happen. They did nothing wrong and rectified the situation immediately.

Caza v. Sparxxx: Won't happen in superior court, doesn't meet the statutory requirements. Could happen in small claims court but proving that there was $1000 in the wallet would be next to impossible. You can't just SAY what you had, you have to prove it.

Sparxxx v. Mike Hawk/Caza: There is a case here, especially if she loses the booble contest. But regardless of whether or not there is a strong case, I would gladly pay for the audio transcript:

Same here, at least 6 out of 10 hotels I stay in, usually have messed up bills, ending with me calling them and discussing the problems. Once I got chared for a weeks stay, and I was only there overnite!

If you got your stuff taken, then the person should pay. but to bring the person's real name on a board like this is way beyond cool....espectly when no one knows for sure!

Hotels are ridiculous for charges. Last hotel I booked charged me $130 for the pool bar. I wasn't at the pool the entire time I stayed. When I called the woman on the phone told me the name signed wasn't even close to my name, yet they charged me anyway. I guess they don't bother to check.
