Um my credit card was on file. I did an express checkout. My card I assumed would be charged and I would be sent my receipt in the mail.

I have no idea what happened when I left the hotel. It could have burned down, I have no idea. I was not there.

I was shocked to hear what happened....I am hoping that we will find out who did this quickly and if it's someone else in our industry circle god help them for doing this to the 2 of us...

I am starting to sound like a broken record, since I have posted the same thing several times now.

I am convinced some people in this thread have never stayed in a hotel.

The first time I used Express Checkout I was shocked. But really, its quite simple. There's absolutely no reason to come in any contact with any staff when checking out. Hit a couple keys and you're done.

I am making t shirts for FLA that say " I stole Caz's wallet and all I got was this lousy t shirt"

Earlier in this thread I took a guess that it was Lisa when everyone was trying to figure out who it was, only because it was narrowed down to the finalists in the Booble contest and they said it wasn't Brandy Talore. Now I feel like a complete jackass because none of this is any of my fucking business either way. I usually try to stay out of drama threads and this is why.

Miss Lisa you don't have to explain yourself anymore... You've been consistent with your story... You provided a copy of your bill.. You researched and gave the time that the card was used which is easily verified.. and I'm sure you have proof of when you left the hotel.. You've done all you can do to keep your name clear.

On the other hand, Caz said you stole it, or maybe it fell out of his pocket.. he doesn't know what happened..
And it's obvious that some here can't see 2 feet in front of their faces..

So basically, you're being blamed for using a card at a desk that you didn't even go to.. and you used it at that desk while you were sitting at the airport.. Now THAT's a kewl trick...

I'd just let these people have their little fun at your expense and let the rest be between you and your attorney.. I'm sure the real story will come out soon and that's when you can have your turn at the wheel.. with a big smile on your face..

Wallet gets dropped lost

Hotel employee finds it, or its turned in at desk.

Hotel employee wants a room for a night for whatever reason.

Uses card to add an additional night to a room just checking out.

Room happens to be Lisa's.

Different hotel employee looks to see where card was used. Sees Lisa's room number.

Conclusions are jumped to.

I worked in a few hotels while I was in college. Hotel employees don't use people's credit cards to get a room. They find an empty room, block out it as unusable, and make a card key for it. Simple as pie. For the most part when we wanted a room for whatever reason we just took it.

He started the field off with 12. Some were eliminated because there were not there. Then him and crew started giving hints like "she is even on his myspace page" from what what was posted narrowed it down to her.

She didn't out herself, she replied to accusations here on the board, and off the board.

He pointed a finger, didn't say a name, same difference. Actually would have seen more of a grown up thing to do to just say who it was instead of playing a guessing game like a kid a recess.

Throwing the $1,000 into the mix adds a lot to the situation. If it was a wallet with $20 it might have been turned in and retured to the owner. Since there was $1,000 in it, the person who found the wallet and kept the money could have done something to try to throw people off the trail. Or someone could have been trying to smear her. Could have been unintentally hotel error. Who knows. A million possibilities.

Caza and crew automatically assumes she STOLE it because the card was used for her room. The money was refunded back to him. he has no proof she did it. But he assumes she has the wallet and the money too...

I highly doubt the police will arrest her because someone used her card to pay her room. I think they would laugh at you for lack of proof if you contacted them to do so.

Who knows what happened! I doubt it is or was an employee, basic rule in employee theft, one doesn't piss were they are fed unless one doesn't need the job or a reference. A computer mix-up? Maybe, was Caza staying at the same hotel?

And who knows if Caza asked his friends (or BROS) to stop posting until he knows more than just his credit card was charge for a room with a real name.

Whichever way it turns out, I am sorry I posted in here. I am sorry for questioning Lisa (to which she answered everything) while I didn't really question Caza's version. People generally and GFY'ers in particular seem to thrive on others misfortunes. Apparently I am one of them.

Since Lisa has stood her ground claiming her innocence and repeatedly answered the same questions consistently, I hope this turns out in her favor as it now seems it will. I think it has already actually even now as people who had never heard of her now know her and how well she handles herself under this type of pressure.

Also as in the case with any negative situation , there will be positives out of this. You can bet everyone will be more responsible with their valuables so they don't get lost or stolen since at EVERY show you hear of stuff going missing. As well I think there will be a lot more people going over their bills with a magnifying glass at checkout rather than doing express checkout and hoping for the best and having to figure it out by phone if there are incorrect charges.

Becomming cocky and arrogant at this time in the drama will not help you until you have cleared your name. It has not happened quite yet.

I'm not saying you're guilty but there is evidence toward the fact that you or someone near you did it and no solid one agiasn't it...

None of what you said about the time frame is proven by any means, and you could have easily made it between 8:45 and 10:15 to the airport...

Here is another bump for you. Like I said who knows what happened, but I used the words: intense and to the minutes since you are posting so much and I not sure who to believe.

Personally, I am just wondering why two credit cards were needed (to be on file) to book a hotel room and your friend left a day earlier and you did express checkout and left through a side door and all this BS is posted about you.

I was not being cocky I just know that I did not do anything wrong nor did anyone in my party.....and true I could have made the airport later but flying out of Vegas before and flying Southwest I never take chances with being late....I don't like to stress about being at the airport late and having to haul ass with the family in tow to the gate...I would rather spend 2 hours waiting in the airport then running to the gate hoping that I get a seat and don't miss the plane....as for proving it.....I am glad that the hotel corrected their mistake and got the money back to his card......as for who did it the tapes will prove it if we can get a copy....Caz is going there Thursday and hopefully he will be able to see the guy who did it and that it was the hotels mistake or some idiot that thought this might be funny since he knew neither of us.

well if it's really your business....my friend was staying with me and wanted to pay for half the room and it was easier for us to use both our cards at check in so that he didn't have to hit the ATM in Vegas right away....you know those $4.00 fees suck from the ATM machines.........and I left out the side door because my in laws where taking us to the airport and we thought that it was easier to meet there then to take up space at the front with all the cabs and other people checking out.....I really don't need to explain why I left out a different door...but since I guess people really want to be up my ass so that I can prove it......would you like to see my cell phone records showing that they called me at 7:30am to tell me that they were leaving their hotel to pick us up.....I am not sure what else I can tell you and am tired of repeating the same story over and over....but I will tell you what I did with all my time in Vegas if that is necessary....but by the way after talking to Caz we found out that I was not even near where he was at the time he realized that his wallet was missing....hard for me to take something when I was not around.....hmmmmmm just a big mess up at the hotel and I am on the bad end just like Caz

You are going to make your own conclusion no matter what I say or do. If I want to leave out the exit and not parade my bags through the casino thats my choice. If I don't want to go to the counter to checkout thats my choice.

Exactly this is why they have a credit card on file to add the charges on it and send the receipt in the mail. I dont see what I did wrong.

As the facts begin to come out (ie: the wallet was lost, not stolen), I think it is safe to say at this point that her name should be cleared.

Not really wondering about your exit just wondering why all this BS is pointed at you and you needed two credit cards on file to book the room in the first place.
