Washington is up by 7, with only about a minute and a half left, and has a first down inside the New Orleans 10. The drive stalls and they have to settle for a chip shot field goal to go up by 10.

I can't believe this affiliate still hasn't been paid and the TOS isn't updated yet.

What a fucking scam.

Because there was little or no competition for the keyword(s), meaning that the affiliate (me) was the only one bidding on it.

Although in this case it hasn't yet worked out financially, because the program (HowIGotRich) owes me money for legitimate sales and refuses to pay me, even after 20 pages of people telling him that he should.

When you discovered he was sending sales you didnt approve of, why did you not inform him then that you do not accept this form of traffic? Why didnt you tell him then to stop his campaign? Why did you keep accepting his sales even though you knew you werent going to pay him?

Answer unbiased and honestly...

Just so everyone knows, NATS automatically generates the payout every 2 weeks, and adds any affiliate that meets their minimum payout to that batch. In order to remove someone from the batch, you have to go to the Payments Admin, find the batch and edit the affiliates payout sale by sale. So if the affiliate is owed for 10 sales, you have to individually remove each and every sale from the batch in order for them to not get paid.

Just goes to show you how much effort he put into ripping off an affiliate. :2 cents:

He only failed at the end, when he claimed they posted "the truth", which is against the scientific method. Theories are not absolute.

You'd think that by this point that he would have AT LEAST modified his ToS to avoid any future issues. But no. It almost seems as though he has no intention of updating his ToS in hopes that he can continue to pluck sales from legit affiliates should there be a repeat in the future.

Not sure, haven't checked the competition since switching the campaign over, the ads are still waiting on approval.

Actually, it is my traffic if they go to Google and type in "ghetto thugs". They're typing that in because they're looking specifically for my site. It's traffic that I've already generated, and they're coming back... it's similar to a type-in, but the moronic surfer version. Do you think I need the assistance of affiliates to send me traffic for people searching "ghetto thugs", considering that I already own the #1 spot for that keyword?

Do you think affiliates bidding on the keyword "ghetto thugs" is doing me any sort of favor?

And lastly... do you think if you bid on the keyword of my brand, and sent that traffic to a competitor... that they'd actually be likely to buy from the competitor? No, because they're not looking for the competitor... AND they're not looking for "black men", they're looking for my site.

Additionally... if you owned my site, and you had the number one placement in Google, and some affiliate was sending you traffic from Google for the keyword you already ranked #1 on... that you'd be overjoyed and elated by the fact that they're sending that traffic to you?

Lots of mainstream companies prohibit the bidding of designated or copyrighted keywords. That is fine. Know why? Because it is in their TOS.
