if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor
if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor
That was a promise made by our leader and chief of propaganda, President Obama. But according to http://www.nytimes.com/2014/05/13/bu...ml?hpw&rref=us In the midst of all the turmoil in health care these days, one thing is becoming clear: No matter what kind of health plan consumers choose, they will find fewer doctors and hospitals in their network ? or pay much more for the privilege of going to any provider they want. ?We have to break people away from the choice habit that everyone has,? said Marcus Merz, the chief executive of PreferredOne, an insurer in Golden Valley, Minn., that is owned by two health systems and a physician group. ?We?re all trying to break away from this fixation on open access and broad networks.? That means, you like your doctor? TOUGH! The New York Times has always be a champion of Obamacare as far as I know, so this is saying something |
Beat a dead horse much? This has been known for a long time. Not to mention it was an issue under the old system. 80% don't care or like their doctor. The other 20% might or might not be effected.

Really ......
I heard there is controversy about Washington's wooden tooth - investigation needed. |
|
Wouldn't it be the NYtimes beating the dead horse? the article is dated 2 days ago.

Why does this asshole cone into my threads and continually call me names when he knows I have him on ignore?
Just another admirer I guess. This isn't beating a dead horse, this is the New York Times coming out with this, until now, only right leaning news sources came out with this. But even the left leaning news sources can't ignore forever what a clusterfuck Obamacare is and the lies that were given as promises to get it passed. |

I love my doctor, have always been lucky when it comes to doctors and if I didn't like my doctor, I would find a new one. Under Obamacare, the choices are smaller. That's not what we were promised. |
What do you have against black horses?

2014 she started paying for her insurance and now has to pay deductibles. My best friend is self employed, his insurance was cancelled and his new insurance is almost double for him and his daughter. Fucking great way to get economic growth in the country, make everyone pay more. |

Keep beating a dead horse. We needed a national healthcare plan, we deployed Romneycare at the national level, and son of a bitch, it's working.
The Republican has set itself up for a huge fail here. If Obamacare does well, the Republicans will look like idiots. If Obamacare fails everyone will just say "Well, why didn't Congress do something to fix this?". Who is in charge of Congress right now? Surprise, surprise, surprise... http://www.jeffs60s.com/images/gomer.jpg Meanwhile, what's the approval rating of Congress? The lowest ever in our lifetimes? But why stop there. Let's bitch and rant about the spin the White House put on a terrorist attack. Never mind the fact that we do not discuss ongoing intelligence matters in public. Let's not try to figure out how this was allowed to happen, why Congress didn't fund better security, let's not try to fix the problem... Let's not try to prevent it from happening again, let's just bitch about what the press release said after the fact. Let's just keep bitching about shit. Let's bitch about the economy some more. Unemployment is down, but let's complain about the system and change the numbers to make it look three times higher. No need to mention the the stock market is at an all time high since the crash, that individual wealth is up, the value of our houses are up, and new housing is up too. But let's continue bitching. Keep bitching. That's all you can do at this point. |
The past 6 months I had recurring tenderness and blood and couldnt afford insurance. Thanks to Obamacare I was able to get insurance for about 1/3rd the cost insurance companies charge, went to a doctor and then to a specialist, got tests, got 2 medicines and its all cleared up now. All within a month.
The urologist was concerned that it could be bladder cancer. Got the final test yesterday, the cystoscope. Man that hurt like fuck, but confirmed I was fine. If it wasn't for obamacare my problem would have grown and grown and years down the road into a very big problem. But instead I was able to get checked out at an affordable cost. Thank you Obama! :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup Republitards do NOTHING but complain and get us into fucking stupid wars. |

Median wages are down, because people are being forced to take lower paying jobs, that's why the unemployment numbers are down, if you want to celebrate that, your a fucking asshole! The stock market is being propped up by the fed printing up 85 billion dollars a month, basic economics, that's bad for the strength of the US dollar. |

So you are subsidized? What about everyone that doesn't get government help? Did you forget about them? |
I told everybody this last year. And everyone thought I was lying..

btw when I chose my PCP doctor there were tons to choose from. All within 5 miles from me. The urologist was about 20 minute drive, but oh well I chose one who had the best ratings and he was absolutely excellent. 41 years experience. btw both times I went to the urologist I was in and out within 25 minutes, including check-in, urine sample, scope up my bladder (ow), results, cleaning up, paying and walking out. No wait at all. I mean 0 other people in the waiting room, I only sat down for 30 seconds before they called me in. It was really amazing. I thought it would be hours but it was lightning fast. And this is in Texas, the place that hates Obama lol. |

So you want to start where? |
I love the analogy that I'm beating a dead horse coming from the liberals here that are still blaming Bush for the bad economy or ignoring that we have a bad economy.
And I love that the liberals are trying so desperately to change the subject to one they think they can win, but they can't. So here it is, did Obama promise if we liked our doctor we could keep him? The answer is simple, YES Is that a lie Simple answer, YES So anyone want to debate that? |

The title of the tread is misleading don't you think? The insurance company's are making moves on there own since there is much more competition now on the market and they are making less profit. The larger the insurance carriers market is the larger there over head cost is.
