Still waiting on an intl wire from Cyprus. Sent sometime towards the end of last week - due anytime. It must come thru soon. GFY has always brought me luck. I am hoping it can "make" this wire come thru before the weekend.

So far this month:
- I missed a critical payment on 9-1 due to (a certain payment company) not allowing my sponsor to load from their new bank. This was the beginning of a disasterous month.

- My best friend was killed on 9-16. My cat and best friend of 11 1/2 years, Lucky. He got bit in the neck and could not beat the infection. I watched him die on the way to the vet. He went out fairly easily thank God. Thanks to everyone who was so kind in that thread. Over 40 "strangers" wished me best. It really helped.

- I developed what I believe was an arterial nose bleed twice. The first time I lost almost a pint of blood. I could not stop it for 15-20 mins and blood was going down my throat fast. There wasnt time to get an ambulance. I had to stop it and finally did by shoving paper towels up my nose as hard as I could. Blood all over hell.

- I was splashed in the face with 1/2 cup of hot grease. Luckily I wear glasses so only got burns around the eyes. Grease covered my glasses. Freak accident as the spatula slipped and a 3 pound chunk of ground beef "rolled".

- I finally went broke (altho I am making more than ever). My first missed payment on 9-1 rolled into the second payment on 9-16 and on 9-21 to 9-23 a wire for $1270 was apparently sent.

- Yesterday I got a summons for jury duty. Which I suppose isnt that bad as I can make a few bucks from it.

But a tough month.

So today I wait on the wire. I am hoping maybe GFY can bring me luck. I have -$67 in my acct. 30 mins on my cell phone. A half tank gas in the car. (cant really go anywhere) and $3 to my name. It ALL depends on an intl wire from a country very far away that doesnt even speak English.

Thankfully a very good man who hangs out on GFY has agreed to loan me $250 until the wire comes thru. Then I will pay him back immediately. It was tough to ask. But I had to otherwise I get killed on NSFs Monday if the wire doesnt come thru today or tomorrow Friday. Plus maybe my bank wont even accept the charges anymore and then my hosting and Internet connection could have been cut off.

When the wire comes thru, I will finally be "home". I will have enough money and should not ever be in this place again. And it is a terrible place to be my friends. I have decent payments due next month but not until about the 10th (not counting this wire) which will now be paid thru Paxum so I can count on them. God bless Paxum.

So I am waiting on the wire. I cant think of much else, so I will post a few tunes and just wait now for the wire. Bring me luck GFY.

You said to ask any sponsors who owe you money to pay out. Esp if you are near the limit for a while.

So I have had $87 working with a sponsor who I prob should not name as maybe they dont want a "run" on people asking. So I decided to ask for it to be paid after reading what you said. I would never have asked if I hadnt read what you said.

They agreed to pay me the $87 next period no problem. Very nice of them. So thanks to them and to you Harmon.

I will NEVER do another intl wire again. I know everyone says they are dependable (and maybe they are) but the not knowing is terrible.

The part that kills me is I could have used Paxum instead of a wire but I thought I needed a Mastercard which would have taken time. I didnt realize I could get paid from Paxum by check.

The fellow who agreed to "back me" until the wire came through is my hero and really my best friend. It takes the pressure off.

Surely the wire will come thru eventually. They say there are safeguards. But as the week went on I needed a small short term loan and thank God for people like this man who are in this industry.

I have always said the kindest people in the world, in any industry, are in this biz.

So I have a safety net now in case it doesnt arrive this week.

the worst part is if you write the sponsor (as I already did) all they can tell you is to "just wait" as you can not really reverse a wire it just has to run it's course.

Someone mentioned somewhere that maybe the FBI or someone is looking it over for a couple days as it is foreign and from a country where many adult companies go to escape certain obligations.



Who knows. I am on about day 4 at least if it went out at the lastest last Friday so really not that late but certainly getting there as each day goes by.

I really dont care about fees. I expect to get hit with at least $150 in fees even tho it was free to send from the sponsor.

IF this wire never comes, I will prob still get by this month as Sept was fairly good. BUT $1000 to a guy like me (after fees) is huge. Of course I could bitch about it but how does the sponsor not KNOW I did not receive it? I could be lying.

Wires are believed to be infallible (and I hope they are) but IF they dont come what is the recourse. This is why I should have NEVER did a wire for 2 periods worth of payments which to me is everything.

It is what I have worked for the last 4 years since Google termed me in Sep 2007 ONLY because I had too many submissions that got rejected. I did not know and they were not that bad of kws. Just words that are titles in adult sites.

Anyhow, I have been falling since all the way around. Free falling.

You see those threads below in my sig, they are really the work of a man who is heading for the waterfalls BUT is paddling as hard as I can. Who needs to smile as he sees disaster coming or at least looming.

To finally get this $1000 ahead and THEN to go thru this hell (maybe self emposed). This is why I am here. Like a wounded cat. I am home. And the power of GFY. We all know there is power somehow will allow me to FINALLY triumph.

still no wire, i wrote the sponsor last Saturday to just see if everything was in order for sure, this is what he said:

"Please wait a bit, it takes some time to process the batch. You should receive your money right now. If not today you will get it for sure. Maybe you even have to wait till Monday...
Anyway you will receive your payment shortly and I can not make it go faster, sorry.
Just wait.

These words "just wait" haunt me. So I "just wait" all fucken week now. Monday is long gone. I think he just said Monday as it could come thru anytime.

the worse that happens with wires they get returned sometimes - the process takes around two week for moneis to get back to sender's account.

some US banks have different set of wire instructions for domestic and international incoming wires through intermediaries, are you sure you gave your sponsor right details?

A good man from the board just western union me $300. He prefers to be anon so I will respect his wishes. But this short term loan takes the pressure off and he also made it for $50 more so I can get some cell phone mins gas and food.

I thank him with all my heart. This gives me a road through till my next payments from Paxum arrive. I hope to God this will change the luck and the wire will arrive later today or soon. Then I will send it right back.

Way it goies but that will be fine. I juyst want to see the F'N wire in my acct.

I will also send it back by the 16-18th of Oct if it doesnt come thru but it has to by then.

EXCELLENT! I thought I would eventually get it as the sponsor is honest. Just that when you are flirting with disaster and living period to period this can happen.

Ya know the first time (I had one other wire go thru in 3 days in 2010 from this sponsor) I gave them the Bank of America NY as a correspondent. This time their form had no place for it. I asked my bank and they said it was not nec as the sending bank will decide on the route.

But, I suspect that may have caused the delay as maybe the bank in Cyprus chose some funky route.

But if they are always returned then I feel much better. Then I should get it resent eventually with Paxum if it is delayed and eventually goes back. Once the sponsor gets it back (if that happens) then they will believe me.

But lets hope it just comes. Still got today and tomorrow and really all next week thanks to getting some help from my friend.

Yes, the bank's Swift number, my acct number, my name and address, the bank's name and address, and the bank's routing number is for sure 100% correct.

Just did not give the cb which maybe gave the bank in Cyprus a reason to send it the long way.

I told the sponsor all this. He said just wait. Waiting is easier with a little money on hand.

that's too long for the wire. go in person to your local bank and see what's up. one time my bank held my wire because the address on my account with the sponsor mismatched my current address. it took me a few different reps until i found one who knew what was going on. most just lied and said whatever.

I'm still here. Good idea. I'll go in in person. I am going into town now. It is a branch. I am going into Saint Cloud, but the main is in Mpls. It is Bremer Bank. I dont mind saying.

But yeah. I will def do that. Seems like they should be able to maybe see something. I called the main last Saturday but it has been a while. With 30 mins on my cell phone I couldnt even call anyone. Got rid of the land line long ago to save money.

If it doesnt come today I will also fire off my email I showed you. See what the sponsor says. That was my orig plan. Then he has Friday to hopefully look into it.

I looked up Cyprus and learned about it and they have a fairly good economy and a modern banking system.

They became a country after breaking away from the Brits in 1959. They also still drive on the left.

Oh yeah, I have looked into everything. I am so sick of wires.

But yeah. Will begin to apply a little heat to the sponsor if it doesnt come thru today or if my bank knows nothing. Will stop by there tho and see.

Just out the door. That is correct. It all slowly went from 2007 till now. I had 9 quarters to my name. But mainly becuse I am missing $1280. But yeah no savings. Zero. NO credit cards. Gone.

I think wires, direct deposits, refunds etc hit once per day, so for instance, if you check in the morning and its not there, you might as well not check til the next business day. Thats of course not the case of a friend walking into your bank with cash at 5pm, as that would hit instantly but you know what I mean?

Ask the company that has sent you the money to send you a wire confirmation... Take that to your bank..

If the dont do that ask for the IMAD..

If they dont do that you possible that it is bullshit.

Wire no matter were they are from take no more than 3 days unless sent on Friday after 1pm EST.

I talked to the bank and they said I should get the wire number and then they can do a poss trace. No sign of the wire yet.

Harmon, No scam. I showed the fellow who loaned me $300 my stats, my bank acct and the money I have coming in in Oct plus he could see the long past history of payments.

As for welfare or whatever the one guy said, $1280 is the diff this month. My other sponsors paid on time. But missing this from my main sponsor is the diff. It comes thru, I pay him back and I have about $800 remaining with another $600 around the corner First period.

This may not be much to some but I can live very well once this wire comes.

Plus I am here and going nowhere. If I was scamming I would be gone.

I am doing better every month. Just that $1280 made the diff between $800 in my pocket or having to ask for a short term loan. If I hadnt asked for the loan I still would have gotten by on this next months income. It just mainly helps the fees.

Relax. This thread is about knowledge of what to do if a wire doesnt come thru at this point. The charity is over.

I also showed him my full communications with the sponsor. Ill get paid just takes time now perhaps.

But I am really wondering what they'll say now. I dont want to make em mad but I need to stay on em of course. They prob have some recourse for this. Surely in all the wires they send it happens occasionally. Ill let you know what they say. Prob in the middle of the night they will respond.

Alright I am going to go punch up the email I posted with a bit more and then set up a ticket. They have a ticket system. So we'll see what happens.

Anyhow, I have a ticket pending and I am confident they will get me squared around. Prob looking into it today before they respond to my ticket.

tiger thanks. So some say up to 10 and some say 1-2. My last wire in 2010 from this sponsor took 3 biz days so I think 1-2 for an intl wire may be too soon. But diff experiences for diff people I guess.

I mentioned checking the IMAD to them. So thanks for the help guys. At least I am a little more knowledgable which helps.

Anyhow ticket still pending so we'll see what they say.

The wire girl at the main bank said that yes ACH and debits, refunds ect come thru in the early morning but she said intl wires can come thru all day long. No specific time altho they usually come thru in the very early morning or late afternoon.

They also assured me that they do not hold them. It will hit my account immediately upon receiving it.

it used to be that international wires took a long ass time to arrive, this year I've seen international wires improve on delivery speed to 1-2 days no matter where they're sent from.

the thing with Cyprus, time moves very slow on that island, a 20min job can take days over there, that's how they are. hopefully they are not vacationing on week's long holidays right now
