Do mobile sites convert?
A while ago everyone got excited over mobile sites.
It seems to have been many months since I have seen anyone post about them. So whats the conclusion? I know myself that on my mobile I use apps mainly. I hardly surf the web, unless I am looking up info.

some programs convert well for mobile for me while others i have not gotten a single signup. Mobile is big but some programs convert better than others for mobile.

In dating, over 60% of ALL our traffic and sales are mobile. And its growing. If mobile is not your top priority, you are missing out.
The days of "what are you doing with your mobile traffic"? are over. Mobile is the focus. Now we deal with that FIRST and figure out what to do with our desktop traffic second. 2c |

Depending on the country, but countries where CC is not that common but mobile billing is available it is rocking.

It converts more then great as long the website uses direct carrier billing and the visitor can subscribe with one or two clicks without to enter any CC, phone number, send SMS or whatever.... in a few countries this way you get 10%+ sales from visitors plus weekly or monthly rebills :-)

We are seeing better and better conversions with http://mobile.xlovecam.com/ use a pc and click the setting to no flash ... Or use your smartpone or tablet -- if it is iOs or Android it will auto detect the no flash setting. |

The whole "mobile market" is over-rated.
Pick up any common phone or tablet and surf a porn site. Surprised that it works? Most developers use responsive design and flash with html5 fall back (of vice-versa). Those who don't, need to rethink some things. offer mobile billing options for mobile users along with credit card. Done. This is just my personal professional opinion but don't send your traffic to mobile brokers, they wont show products your customers are expecting. Have smart site design and you will be fine. For affiliates, find programs that have responsive sites (even then, most mobile browsers will fit desktop view to your browser and scale it down anyways, like a jpeg) and that do NOT redirect your mobile traffic away to a broker they made deals with. You won't get paid for that. key is, as long as the paysite has mobile billing options, you dont need to worry about mobile traffic |

If some college kid is going to whip one out between classes in the men's room on his mobile phone he's not paying for a members site...he's going to a tube and watching a 2 minute clip...draining the jizz and then onto his next class. People at home don't site around looking at a tiny screen when they want to see HD video and are paying for it. SO the answer is NO. |

Some of the people posting and reading in this thread could post stats screenshots of their mobile revenue per country and the eCPM they get and those of you still asking if mobile makes money in 2014 won't believe it, but they prefer to shut up and smile. Go to any webmaster event and take a look at the panels and what everybody is talking about, mobile. Ask also the dating and cams programs, mobile is huge for them and I know because we send a lot of sales/leads to them. Do some research, did you know that like 50% of internet traffic is now from mobile devices? Again if you are only talking about classic VOD sites and credit card processing in USA/CA, then you might be right, mobile is maybe not as huge as desktop right now but there are some paysites making a lot on mobile already, I know as we send USA/CA traffic to them, but outside that, mobile is what saved this industry outside North America and it's growing non stop. Indeed also chat rather than type text in. When I used it I thought it would be better if I could chat one on one via voice rather than text. Also I would also think it would be good if by moving my phone around I could move the models camera up and down and zoom in and out. While I like the site, it feels a bit old still.

Also I find it odd when mobile sites ask for an email address.
Many people do not use email on there phone, so it seems to be self defeating. I do have email on my phone, but even then I have to go to my app, which means leaving your site. Others may have to go to say yahoo mail online, again leaving your site. Surly its better that people get a text to confirm or somthing else.

 It's just people accessing content on a device. Your sites should be equally accessible on all devices, and you should filter your offers by what will convert which device and geo the best. |

We just try SGM and there are really good ratio (We have now something about 1:80). Also we have many sales but each sales is very very low (from 0.01 euro to 6 euro top). We try it just one week. How can I get more then 0.01 euro per sales? Is there somebody who can help me (something better than SGM?)? Thanks (sorry for my english)... |
