A friend of mine is one of those died hard patriot types. Any little thing will set him off. One afternoon he was going off about veterans. There had been something in the news about a vet getting screwed over by the VA and he was furious and ranting about supporting the troops. I asked him what he has personally done to support the troops. Eventually it was discovered the only thing he had ever done was have his wife bake 2 dozen cookies that he donated to a group that was sending care packages to soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

So Mr. Patriot could only be bothered to ask his wife to bake something. Other than that he has done nothing. It made me laugh. He always throws a big Super Bowl party. If, at this year's party, he fails to stand for the national anthem I plan to bust his balls.

just look at his twitter account. He has a charity he retweets called #kapscampers and if you go back to june and july you see him really active and in a lot of pictures with that. But guess what that is with people that are white and all other colors. You know a great act by a past sports star is Shaq. Did you hear about a old lady calling the police on a group of kids that were playing basketball and carrying on loudly? the police officer showed up and played basketball with them instead of arresting or breaking up the game. I hate the police because I think most are bullies and assholes. But these guys have a place in society and are a necessary evil. My son just turned 20, and I have taught him to respect the cops, be polite and cooperative. Why? So his ass dont get shot. I tend to agree with Jim Harbaugh's amended statement which says he agrees with Colin's motivation but not his method.
