Putin Pleads For An End To Nuclear Insanity

Hillary's 'War Drums' Confirm Putin's Fears Of A World "Rushing Irreversibly" Towards Nuclear Showdown | Zero Hedge

Putin (quoted from above link):

"We know year by year what's going to happen, and they know that we know. It's only you that they tell tall tales to, and you buy it, and spread it to the citizens of your countries. You people in turn do not feel a sense of the impending danger - this is what worries me. How do you not understand that the world is being pulled in an irreversible direction? While they pretend that nothing is going on. I don't know how to get through to you anymore."

Putin seems very reasonable and sadly, he is absolutely right. Western populations are badly brainwashed.

I'm telling this all the time. The nuclear war is inevitable and nobody will survive. Not here and not there. The moto of Russian РВСН (Strategic Missile Forces) is "nobody after us".

So enjoy your life while you can

You forgot the Iskander-M missile (SS-26) Putin just deployed in the Kaliningrad region bordering Poland and Lithuania. They have a range as far as Berlin and most of eastern Europe.

Mach 6-7 Stealth Missiles. Probably, too fast for NATO ABM's to shoot down. Wow, Kim il-Jong must be creaming his pants ... I hope he is not on the waiting list for Iskander-E. (Export version-- less than 300km range.)

Missile Threat | SS-26 (Iskander) | Missile Threat

Starting a war that no one can win is not too bright.

And it can be equipped with a low power 50 kiloton nuke warhead, which is just a bit more powerful than two Hiroshima's. That's not a strategic weapon, but a small range tactical tool to strike the NATO bases in the closer EU countries like Poland etc (less than 2.5 from Kaliningrad to Warsaw). Nothing special, actually.

Don't worry. They all rusty, so they won't fly.

I find it hilarious that people like yourself say this and act like you have more freedom in places like Dubai than in America or other western countries. Yes, I'm sure people living under dictatorships and other oppressive governments are all wise to the real goings on in the world.

Just curious... A freedom to do what? Which exactly freedoms you have in the States that other countries have not? if you what to learn what REAL freedom is, go visit Europe. You Americans have no idea about freedom, because almost everything you can do here, is forbidden in your country. Gambling is illegal. Prostitution is illegal. Serving alcohol in strip clubs is forbidden. Filming cops on duty is forbidden. Smoking on the beach is forbidden. Drinking beer on public is forbidden. Having opened beer in the car is forbidden. I don't understand why do you guys are still allowed to breath...

Land of the free, my ass...

Oh but wait, everything and more is "forbidden" in your country but just not enforced...until they want to get you on something and suddenly you're in shit.

I don't want to wait for something. Tell me what exactly you can do in the States what I'm not allowed to do here. I'm not interesting in abstract discussion about some abstract bullshit. I have named a list of things that are ok here, but illegal in the States and I can continue. Now tell me what is allowed in the land of the free and is NOT allowed here. According to the law. Once again: no abstract bullshit please.

P.S. As about the list above. Nothing is forbidden here. It's not just "not enforced". Excluding a gambling - it's really illegal in most of Russian regions (not everywhere), but it's legal in many other European countries. Even in Belorussia.

For one thing, I am not an American. I am Canadian and the majority of things you listed are legal here. There have been a number of discussions on things that are illegal in Russia that you say no one cares about and are not enforced but at the end of the day, they are still illegal. Regardless my comment was not so much towards Russia as other countries with much more strict access to information.

I have no idea about those discussions where Canadians tell each other various fairy tails about Russia. If you know something what is allowed in Canada but forbidden in Russia (by the law), please don't be shy and enlighten me please. I'm still waiting and very excited...

Really? And how do you imagine this? Don't we have the Internet? Don't we have independent press and television? Don't we have Euronews, BBC, DW, France24, NBC etc in the basic digital TV packages? Are those channels somehow censored? Please explain, because I didn't get it.

When you speak about something, please make sure post the facts.

I don't know what you are going on. If I had time to waste I could pull up the posts where you talk about things illegal in Russia that "no one cares about" but I just don't care. You can think what you want and post nonsense. Its all fine with me.

I was never discussing what is legal or illegal...simply saying that people like Vendot who lives in Dubai somehow thinks the west is more "brainwashed" than than those in UAE is funny to me..

No, that's a very different thing. In those posts I was talking about things that are officially forbidden but not enforced. Like smoking in the office, taxi service w/o a license, making money on house renting and avoiding taxes for that etc. I do believe all those things are forbidden in most of other countries too (including yours), but they are really not enforced here.

Dubai is also no that strict place as you may think. It has a double-standard law system which says: things that are allowed to foreigns are not allowed to locals.

Russia Quietly Tightens Reins on Web With ‘Bloggers Law’
Russia enacts 'draconian' law for bloggers and online media - BBC News

but let me guess, that law is a joke, no one takes it seriously, fine is only $5, etc...

I didn't get it again. What exactly this "law" does forbid? What is the punishment for avoiding them? Do those laws somehow making something illegal which is legal somewhere else?

It's just another bullshit which says: if you have more than some thousands of visitors on your blog per a month, you have to register your site as a news media. The questions are: how would you know how many visitors I have? What will you do if I tell you "fuck off"? What will you do to me? Send me to a jail? No, because it's not a crime. Fine me? No again, because it's not a crime. Now I'll tell you what does it mean. When you register your blog as a news media (it's a free procedure), you will get ALL the possibilities which were available to the official news media only. E.f. you will be able to visit the places "for media only". You will be able to start instigation procedures. You'll be protected by the law as a journalist etc... For example, if someone will break your camera or microphone, it's just a property damage. If someone do it when you are registered as a news media, the same damage will be considered as an obstruction of journalists, which is a serious crime that leads to a jail time.

it makes it illegal to operate a sufficiently popular blog without registering with the government first... I haven't heard of any civilized country where you have to register your blog with the government? have you?

it may perhaps give you some rights, but it also makes you responsible for what you publish... you can no longer publish some wild conspiracy theories without proof, can't publish anything anti-russian, etc...

while the whole world recognizes that freedom of speech is important, you guys create new laws that start to restrict it, even if in a very meaningless sense like this new law...

No it's not. If you know a criminal code which makes it illegal, please post it.

Here is an example: navalny.com/ - a blog that belongs to the worst Putin's enemy in Russia - Alexy Navalny. He has millions of followers (BTW he's office is located just near my home ;)). Have he registered his blog somehow? No. Can Putin do anything to him for that? No again. I have a lot of blogs. Do I register them? Course no, like 99,999999% of others here. Why? Because there is no criminal penalty for that. The people who register their blogs as media, do it for the befits that belong to journalists only. I don't need those benefits, so I don't register anything.

that's not the point, you said there are no laws restricting your freedoms in Russia... when in fact there are, maybe you won't go to jail over it, but if you can get fined over it it's "illegal"...

it's not enforced now, but any day it could be, you could piss someone off, and they could fine you up to 30,000 rubles for each blog, which if you have dozens would quickly ruin you...

No, not anti-Russian of course. What do you mean on "anti-Russian"? LOL ))) However there are really many rules for the public media such as "no adult language", "no propaganda on suicide", "no propaganda on terrorism", "no propaganda of non-traditional sex to kids" etc. That's why nobody wants to register the blogs as a news media.

So which one does restrict my rights here? As I told you above, I may not register my blogs as a news media and I won't be considered a journalist. So what? How does this law apply to my unregistered blogs? It's like if you want to be an official republican, you have to join the republican party. Does this rule restricts your rights somehow? Once again, it's not a crime if you don't register your site as a news media and there is no punishment for that. The western media has twisted it as usually. Like it was with a law with a fine for a propaganda of gay sex to kids, which was considered as an anti-homosexual law by the homo pedoes of the world. It's not a crime to be a homo in Russia and to suggest a homosexual act to another adult. It's forbidden only if someone does it towards minors. In this case he/she will be fined. What's wrong with that law? Don't you have some similar law in the States and why your president Obama was so angry about it?

As someone from Poland, a country which is traditionally very anti-russian - I trust putin 100x more then Obama, Hillary, or anything else from there. Putin doesn't beat around the bush.

I want to add a few words here.

1) Not a blog but yourself or your company to register as a media.

2) In fact, you don't have to register anything. Simple just because no one can count your visitors. Not even in theory. That's why this "law" have never been enforced even towards those who make Putin piss his pants every single day.

3) There are many other strange rules in other civilized countries as well. E.g. in South Korea (yes, I said South) all political content is censored. In Germany you can't run an adult-oriented site w/o a special age verification system. The UK has a huge case of the Internet censure. So any country has some restrictions towards the Internet. The violations can be recommended a punishable. In the USA you can get a jail time for visiting the sites with illegal content, etc. So the most important here is which exactly restrictions do really work and which don't.

Well firstly, I moved to Malaysia over a year ago.

Secondly, you're another dude who has hardly spent any time outside your home country except for "vacation" so to speak. This so called benefit of "Freedom" is hardly a badge of honor, it's available in the majority countries in fact its rarely not available.

Have you even been to Dubai? Dude, get out of your box.... go and experience the world.

As for brainwashed, I'm talking about how the sheeple people think Putin wants war when in fact its the western world that is doing its level best to pick a fight with Putin. They know that once that fight has started, the fight will carry on and everyone will forget who started it.

I do remember how during some press conference in the beginning of this century, Putin has suggested George Bush Jr. to accept Russia into NATO. Bush was talking how close the USA and Russia and what good friends we are blah-blah-blah, then Putin asked him directly: "so we are friends now? Ok, let's make Russia a NATO member" Course Bush was killed with that phrase. He has started mumble something "we are great friends, but it's not time yet..."

That scene has explained the situation pretty well. Even a complete moron can see who wants war - Russia or the USA. Everyone made a proper conclusion and how we have the situation as it is.

Sure.... the trouble is, most people are dumber than "complete morons".

I stole this video from GFED's thread but it just a fraction of the discussion that's going on the alt media, blogs, youtube, etc, etc but of course the majority are not aware of this and even if they were, they often don't have the intellectual capacity to process it.

Any example? During the Soviet era there were two different blocs with a different ideology. Now the ideology is the same for both superpowers. Russia is not the Soviet Union anymore and it doesn't want to bring communism to the whole world. In the beginning of this century Putin was a very pro-American person, like the most of Russian citizens. So why do you think it wasn't possible to join Russian army and NATO together?

P.S. Not today of course. The no-return point has been passed long time ago and the train goes to its final destination. It will be the really final one for the whole planet Earth. There is nothing we can do about it actually, so make money and spend it while you can ;)

I trust putin 100x more than clinton, she is a known liar and criminal. Trump mentions working with Russia to fight Isis and it's blasphemy. Clinton's tough talk has only created problem after problem as her inability to think critically about anything is clouded by her desire for money and power. I laugh when she speaks of her "public service". She serviced the public to their detriment while she lined her pockets with foreign money. At least putin cares about his country.

Syria is one example, Ukraine other. if those wouldnt appear, there would be more.
also type of governing in the country....russian goverbment tries to be completely independent from outside influence (ie: registering NGOs) and its a little paranoid on every level. so its not like German or Poland that have NATO bases on their land.
dreaming of one huge military bloc in the world is a dangerous idea. the world is better like its now

A wrong try from the very banning. These are "responses" to NATO, and they have became possible only today. Please read my previous post carefully. I'm talking about the World as it was 15 years ago, when Putin like the most of Russian citizens was pro-American and he thought that West is our friend. He has closed our military bases on Cuba and Vietnam. He has invited Americans to our Asian backyard after 9/11 (a fuckin' naive moron). Unfortunately, there is no place for a maneuver now. Even that naive and pro-Western Putin has got his lesson.

you are really naive if you think that Putin was ever "naive" and friend to Americans.
he and his friends are not that stupid....
I understood your post, yet you seem not to understand mine - Russia, NATO and China always had different interests and its not possible to put them in one military bloc (unless of course - alien invasion will happen). And thats the beauty of this world.
Why it is like that ? well, lets just take form of government that Russia and China have and how easy is to influent them from outside. Is it eeasy ? not really. russian and chinese government thieves dont like thieves from other governments - they like to steal only by themselves :-)
