Aleppo is in Syria, in the Russian sphere of influence. This is a Russian problem. The United States cannot go in do what it wants. The Russians have to handle this, and they are - in their own way.

Allepo is partly held by rebel factions but they are not part of ISIS. Parties hostile to Ass-ad.

Ass-ad don't like these rebels they took his toys.

From my point of view: US aviation bombed center of Belgrade (Serbia) at the end of WWII (1944), though Serbia was one of the Allies. They razed a childbirth center with hundreds of babies and pregnant mothers. Exact the same scenario repeated back in 1999 with NATO. I can name you at least 100 civilian targets in Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia and Kosovo that were struck by NATO aviation with thousands of civilian victims, including the usage of forbidden cluster bombs in big cities. And we are talking about the countries in the middle of Europe, that existed 10+ centuries before USA.

Hundreds of cluster bombs were dropped in '99. in the middle of Serbia by NATO aviation (US aviation, to be more precise). They were dropped to an open marketplace in the middle of the day in city center of a city the size of Sacramento and I have personally witnessed that. And believe me, it was not funny at all. There were no military objects, no "rebels" (notice the quotation marks), no army, nothing but peaceful unarmed civilians.

I'm just trying to advise you to think twice about anything serious you might say, before you actually say it. And stop to believe blindly to whatever you see or hear on TV, without using your brain first.

I'm not a pro-Russian oriented at all, not taking any sides here, I do not hate USA at all, but this really makes me think twice about US methods of defending "democracy" and "peace" and the media brainwash being a part of the equation.

That is the lamest reasoning I have ever heard. That's no different than trying to justify todays war crimes with the war crimes in WW2 -- fucking stupid reasoning. Both Russian made and US made bomb and delivery systems are much more accurate that what was in use in 1999. That is just lame or very informed reasoning. The Syrian government is behaving the same as the rebels and ISIS -- that is the problem there -- that are ALL terrorists at this point -- total disregard and total savagery. ============= Ok Adolf Hitler committed genocide so that is an excuse for the Hutu to commit genocide against the Tutsi or the Serbs mass murder of Bosnians? So, by this fucked up logic it OK for the Syrians to kill civilians intentionally (or by recklessness). Bad shit happens when you at war but this is a bit ridiculous already. I really doubt that Assad's intention and goal while he was in power 100 % was to make genocide of Syrians. He rather wanted to rule.... and make his country prosper (but on top of that - his friends and family). Nothing really wrong with that... now look what we have today.... the " not moderate opposition" kills Alawites on spot. Majority of people in Assad's army are Sunnis... now, quoting Assad: "how can you survive without public support, if you have against you practically all your neighbours and world powers"...so answer this for yourself... divide and conquer ! the silence (and I mean - true silence, not any fucking word in media) of Israel on this matter really says a lot.
