Of course I was being sarcastic but you have done an excellent job of articulating what confuses even me (a general supporter of vax, mask, etc). If we had a clear example of things that WORK - countries and governments who have handled this thing and kept Covid out of their populations, then I would feel much better.

Just to be clear, the ribosomes have not been altered or changed to produce a particular protein. They read the three base nucleotides of the mRNA and match it to the corresponding amino acid, then progress down the sequence of mRNA to the next 3 bases, and so on, stringing those amino acids together to produce a protein. When that protein is complete, they move on to the next sequence of mRNA they happen to find.

Photo taken yesterday at Sawgrass Mills, a well-known Fort Lauderdale mall. Masks were scarce.

The center is called the Sawgrass Mills and has 400 stores specializing in manufacturers' discounts, the famous outlets .

By our estimate, at least a third of the people who shopped there did not wear a mask.

And it was not only people isolated in the crowd, but also entire families, from the largest to the smallest, who ignored the sanitary measure.
