This air fryer is legit!

I just fried chicken in an air fryer for the first time.
It's hard for me to believe; but I can't tell that an air fryer was used. No way!
The clean up is nothing compared to when I pan fry chicken.

$140 US

I already feel like it was worth it after just one meal.

My Son has something similar, though I have not seen it personally. He is always singing its praises, yet when I ask to come round for a meal, he goes silent

I have a Ninja air fryer. It's great for me because I order a lot of food for delivery, and toss fries or chicken into the Ninja for a few minutes after it arrives and it tastes like it's straight out of the restaurant kitchen!

But the inner tray is held in place by some silicone pads that all broke within the first few days, and then I burned the shit out of myself several times until I figured out how to deal with the tray just flopping out when I was retrieving the food.

Still, it's been a great addition to my kitchen!

Nice! Fried chicken is delicious. Making it a bit healthier sounds like a wonderful idea.

I use tongs to take the food out so maybe I will avoid a bad tray.

I have the 5-1 Ninja with the air fryer + grill option. Its very good. I use it for a lot of things. And now french fries that go cold, can be revived very fast and taste great.

Let me burst your bubble lol

Why you shouldn't use an air fryer?

Not only does air frying still run the risk of creating acrylamides, but polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and heterocyclic amines can result from all high-heat cooking with meat. These compounds have associations with cancer risk, according to the National Cancer Institute

Just saying You still going to die

They are good for finishing off cooking frozen fried food. Once you start to get healthy you won't want to eat fried food as it will be last thought.

I don't care about that.
I wanted to try this to stop having to dispose of pans of oil.
Now I get the same result but only spray a little oil on the chicken.
I can get rid of the "vat" of used grease in my kitchen.

I made sausage, hash browns and egg over-easy for breakfast and the clean up is just to wipe baskets with a paper towel.
No grease splatter on the stove and floor like using a frying pan.

I have one made by DeLonghi, works great. You can make french fries in it too with only like a spoon full of oil.

In most places around the world, breathing is considered a cancer risk... so I give up worrying about that. Deep-frying in oil is worse, but we still eat french fries.

If you love perfectly grilled all beef hot dogs in 6-7 minutes then this is your heaven.

I normally heat my frying pan for 10 minutes and then stand over the hot dog cooking for another 12-15 minutes.

Fuck that now!

I get exact same result in 7 minutes in the air fryer.

I think I will sill need a frying pan to make steak like I want it.
I'm pretty sure I will still need a frying pan to make fried rice also.
I will test that soon.

1. Get an air fryer

OR

2. Move in with

Have heard nothing but good things about air fryers, that looks like a real nice one.

My problem is I have so many kitchen appliances I'm going to need a 2nd kitchen soon.

I'm actually considering taking out my stove completely and extending my counter space.
With air fryers and microwaves available, it seems ovens are for people who bake bread and cakes.
If I need a skillet then I can get a counter top electric one and also electric pot.

I make cornbread in the microwave so some baking effects are possible.

But the big deal for me is that I'm envisioning a clean grease free kitchen without any reduction in food quality and faster cooking times.

For your cornbread you might want to consider a toaster oven next. I use mine pretty much daily and I used to fly through them, they would die after a year. Several years ago I got a really nice stainless steel one, similar to the following link, and it's been fantastic: https://www.amazon.com/Cuisinart-TOB...s%2C188&sr=8-1

If you do go ahead with removing your oven, a sizable toaster oven can quite easily replace most of your oven needs.

Then of course I just stumble on this https://aax-us-iad.amazon.com/x/c/Qm...8-ff042f17d1a4

Ninja makes good stuff.. I have their 'ninja cooker' and it's fantastic, not sold on air fryers yet as I don't make alot of food here, kinda swear by my cast iron - and not much else.

Ya, you can make pizza. Really good pizza actually because the crust gets crispy. Just need to play around a little to get it right.

The thing people don't understand about Air Friers is that its not about being "healthy" per se. It's about the convenience of frying food (or otherwise heating food) without needing to use oil and deal with the huge mess. Seriously, for reheating fries or fried cheese - I can order mozzarella sticks for delivery - and sticking them in the device for a few minutes to have it taste like it came straight out of the kitchen.

People think it's like that you're trying to be extra healthy, but no, it's like I can have all kinds of great food and it tastes awesome without the hassle

true say, I store books in mine

not sure if it's a 'fryer' but my ex swore by his FlavorWave, he used that for anything that wasn't done on the BBQ outside. what you describe def sounds better than a kitchen filled with oil, ick

I'll take some of that purple kale salad though

Well, it's hard to match a cast iron skillet. I still swear by them also; air fryer is the
best competitor by far.

EXACTLY!!!

I'm making wings right now with zero oil.
Half way through and they look great.
I don't have to stand over the stove, no chance of grease fire, no splatter, no smoke...

This one lets you sinc the cooking time for different foods in the baskets so it all finishes at the same time.

It can take some practice to get what you want; so maybe you gave up too soon on it.

Dude, I feel like I'm "Living The Life"!

Just get a cart with rollers to put it on and stack the other stuff under it on the cart.

Would it be ok if your boyfriend bought you a vacuum cleaner?
Kidding , looks like a decent one.
