I've been with SicCash for over a year and a half now and has made a shitload of money with them. I wake up a couple of days ago to this shit!

As you may know, both Visa and Mastercard have implemented very stringent rules for adult related credit card processors based on the huge increases in fraudulent activity involving credit cards, especially with regard to internet/surfer usage for various goods and services. Excessive chargebacks and credits can cost a credit card processor large sums of money in penalties and fines (which are passed on to the various webmaster programs who use the credit card processor). At worst, it can cost a processor its merchant account; and a processor can lose the ability to process credit card transactions.

One of our credit card processors flagged this account for irregular activity. Upon review of your account?s activity since Jan 2003, it was noted that an abnormal number of signups referred through your webmaster account have also been credited or charged back. We have been informed by the credit card processor that they will not be accepting further referrals from this account. Because of this, we have been forced to close this account. We are sending you 1 check for period ending 7/6/2003 totaling $600. Please remove all links from your websites that direct traffic to S.I.C. Cash before August 10, 2003 (the end of the next payout period), as any signups after that date will not be paid (of course, any signups occurring between this email notice and August 10, 2003, that clear fraud review and are not duplicates/credited/charged back will be paid). this is a complete business decision. Just like you.. if you are sending traffic to a sponsor, and they do not convert, I'm sure you take your traffic elsewhere.

We too run a business, if we see that an account has a higher than average chargeback problem, then we too must make changes.

I apologize if our pro-active approach to these new Visa regulations seems harsh and uncalled for, but we must be making sure our business is operating at all new parameters.

Lastly.. as was mentioned you will get paid for your traffic and signups.

I will go back and re-evalute your account personally... as there is always room for error.. we get a list of accounts with numbers... there is no discrimation that way..

I know this is true, IPSP's are now scrubbing webmasters for fraud as well as surfers.

It could always be a mistake, or some recent bad taffic or something to explain it. But i'd bet you'll be seeing this kind of thing across the board a lot more in coming months.

We have to stay under 1%, if we want to be in biz long term. 1% is a VERY tough # to hit. Some people are blind to this right now, and will be blind sided. I can esnure you we have ran spreadsheet after spreadsheet. It is VERY hard to drop .1%, can not imagine how some others will drop .5% or more.

Like Greg said, we are trying to be proactive and ensure we are around for the long term.

If i will promote in google for example milf hunter on his keywords and i will be kicked because of bad trafficc, then there will be someone else on my place with this site. And the same story goes again. Surfers know better, how to do not pay, then in past. . The problem is bad surfers and Visa too...

Unless people run their shop like a business, they'll be out of business. If you have webmasters generating high chargebacks over a sustained period of time why should you keep them?

The only downside is for webmasters who shift their traffic all the time. So if you send a load to Sponsor A and then shift it a couple months later to Sponsor B, now when the chargebacks hit your ratios are going to look artificially high in relation to revenues.

There are many reasons to hate on siccash, or so I've heard.

But this is not one of them.

Other sponsors need to TAKE NOTES from these guys on how to handle affiliate terminations. Most of the larger guys I've seen just drop an account and not even let you know, much less pay.

What they did is stand up in my book. They no longer want your traffic, so they let you know. You're still being paid, and even have a fair time to remove your current links.

What more do you want?

I think this is going to be the norm . Same thing happened to me and my pages were made based on siccash actual tour pages , so go figure . surfers aren't staying around like they used to , there's a recession going on , and I'm not sure about what's actually inside siccash sites , I mean I know tour pages say live midgets where I don't know if live midgets actually are in the sites webcam area. I think the large sponsors should look at sites that have low chargeback ratios and copy the format , less plugin and more personality , sometimes looking at a tgp I notice they have a voice , a small paysites too , but often large sponsor sites don't have that something extra that makes people feel ok I'll stay around a while.But I think it's probably easier to keep a member than to get a new one and could only hope they're looking at every angle to keep customers happy first rather than can webmasters.Because it's true that someone's number one in google is just going to be replaced by another one and if the site doesn't live up to expectations it's still another chargeback simply different webmaster.Canning an account might not be the answer.Also could the rules be changing could tgp traffic now be better than search engines? because if it's not and this guy states having search engine traffic then things might be worse than webmasters could imagine.

It is well known I wouldn't piss on Brad Shaw if he was on fire and we never see eye to eye on anything

however, I feel he and his company have handled this with a high level of class.

You have an account that draws more chargebacks than usual. That should be grounds for termination from ANY program. They are showing class by still paying you fior your traffic and giving you notice to take down their links. They could have been total dicks and just cut you off flat, saying "fuck you, you will ercieve no money, fuck off and die", but they didn't.

Just think you're getting paid and if this last batch of traffic is the same as what you've been sending in the past, they'll be eating those chargebacks in the months to come.

Maybe it's time to anylize your traffic a bit?

If you have webmasters generating high chargebacks over a sustained period of time why should you keep them? The only downside is for webmasters who shift their traffic all the time. Because of this, we have been forced to close this account." now if you do not believe the cc processor did this that is something else. I for one believe the cc processor did not want the business your site was creating I do not think an old school company like siccash.com (if you were making a lot of money off them how much were they making off you) wants to lose affiliates. __________________ ibs

Other sponsors need to TAKE NOTES from these guys on how to handle affiliate terminations. Most of the larger guys I've seen just drop an account and not even let you know, much less pay. What they did is stand up in my book. They no longer want your traffic, so they let you know. You're still being paid, and even have a fair time to remove your current links. Same thing happened to me and my pages were made based on siccash actual tour pages , so go figure . surfers aren't staying around like they used to , there's a recession going on , and I'm not sure about what's actually inside siccash sites , I mean I know tour pages say live midgets where I don't know if live midgets actually are in the sites webcam area. I think the large sponsors should look at sites that have low chargeback ratios and copy the format , less plugin and more personality , sometimes looking at a tgp I notice they have a voice , a small paysites too , but often large sponsor sites don't have that something extra that makes people feel ok I'll stay around a while.But I think it's probably easier to keep a member than to get a new one and could only hope they're looking at every angle to keep customers happy first rather than can webmasters.Because it's true that someone's number one in google is just going to be replaced by another one and if the site doesn't live up to expectations it's still another chargeback simply different webmaster.Canning an account might not be the answer.Also could the rules be changing could tgp traffic now be better than search engines? because if it's not and this guy states having search engine traffic then things might be worse than webmasters could imagine.

You have an account that draws more chargebacks than usual. That should be grounds for termination from ANY program. They are showing class by still paying you fior your traffic and giving you notice to take down their links. They could have been total dicks and just cut you off flat, saying "fuck you, you will ercieve no money, fuck off and die", but they didn't. Just think you're getting paid and if this last batch of traffic is the same as what you've been sending in the past, they'll be eating those chargebacks in the months to come.
