Gotta love all the "you oughta pay her more" coming from folks who don't actually have to write the check or the "she stuck to her principles by only doing softcore" when she spreads her legs to make money on the net to begin with.

How quickly people forget the reason there are so many searches performed or the site so popular is because Lightspeed paid to make it so and all of the other expenses associated with doing business.

Sounds to me like she thought she'd catch a ride on the gravy train with a contract extension and is po'd when it didn't happen. Maybe she'll use some of the money you paid her for a course in "Negotiating A Contract 101" for a cut of the pie after sales exceed X amount of $'s or for X amount of months of sales for as long as updates on the site are performed with preshot content on her next gig.

She was already compensated for all of the content you have of her - end of this story. If you have enough to last for years to come - well, that's smart business.

Steve is being too generous, in my opinion. Tomorrow there will be a mood swing and the offer will change. Tawnee should take the offer tonight.

The offer to help her launch her own site is absolutely astounding. If she doesn't jump on it she'll prove she's just another dumb model. She's been offered the opportunity to go into business for herself.

I see that offer as Steve showing his appreciation for what she's done for Lightspeed. I don't like Steve much (for some personal reasons) but have to admit that this is something that makes my jaw drop open. It's over the top.

Tawnee, if you're reading this thread you should know that you'll never in your entire life be given such a generous offer in any sort of capacity.

The fact that she's shopping for a new employer & doesn't have the desire to start her own site makes me think she has some understanding about the amount of work it takes to be successful & wants no part of that. She's been spoiled. How many of us were shaped by those shitty part time jobs we had in high school? What's normal for her is earning $10K for 4 hours work. Even with expert tutelege, she would still have to put in a lot of time & effort to grow a brand new site. No cam, no journal, no email interaction = no retention.

My bet is she'll be doing hardcore with Kinzie Kenner within the year.

So Steve was paying Tawnee 52 times the going rate for typical models (he essentially paid her $26k per day, 5 days totalling $130k). I'd say that's pretty decent. It's the right thing to do for a model that brings above normal returns and he did it. Who knows what the expenses look like.

Sorry to hear about your situation Steve. From what I've read, you've always been very fair with your models. My only word of advice would be to not set a precedence for current and future models. Next thing you know you'll have 10 other models 'shopping' around knowing that you might give in. I suppose you're rolling the dice either way. Wow don't have time to read all 12 pages. But basically my opinion is she should have waited to complete school and find a long term income source before buying a house!!!!! Let me guess, it is a sweet pad and she has a nice car to drive.

If I was a 18yr old teen net sensation (softcore to boot) I would have stuck all my earnings into something that would make me money for the rest of my life. Like school and a retirement account.

4yrs of work she probably earned around $250k. Now she is bitching because she can't afford her house.

Steve let her get the taste of the real life and in a year when your unreleased content is drying up she will be back begging to shoot that $25k POV.

How quickly people forget the reason there are so many searches performed or the site so popular is because Lightspeed paid to make it so and all of the other expenses associated with doing business. Sounds to me like she thought she'd catch a ride on the gravy train with a contract extension and is po'd when it didn't happen. Maybe she'll use some of the money you paid her for a course in "Negotiating A Contract 101" for a cut of the pie after sales exceed X amount of $'s or for X amount of months of sales for as long as updates on the site are performed with preshot content on her next gig. She was already compensated for all of the content you have of her - end of this story. If you have enough to last for years to come - well, that's smart business.

She's been offered the opportunity to go into business for herself. I see that offer as Steve showing his appreciation for what she's done for Lightspeed. I don't like Steve much (for some personal reasons) but have to admit that this is something that makes my jaw drop open. It's over the top. Tawnee, if you're reading this thread you should know that you'll never in your entire life be given such a generous offer in any sort of capacity.
